No voice could be heard, nor any call. The only sounds echoing were the castle crumbling into rubble and the growl of the enormous beast swallowing it whole.

What they had cherished as their home for so many years was now being devoured by a monstrous, gaping maw.

The hearts of the friendly team shattered at the mere thought of the countless moments they had shared there.

The days were always vibrant there, rarely a day passed when the crew would relax. Always busy having fun, going on new adventures, sharing moments of joy, unity, play.

There was always life in that castle. Sadly, now all of that was crumbling.

Strange how the last memory has to be one of the worst.

There was a moment of silence, until everyone cast their eyes downward filled with sadness and despair, devoid of hope.

The girl with orange hair looked up with great courage, her voice breaking on the verge of tears.

Meggy: "No...This can't be the end..."

Beside her stood her most trusted friend Mario, a brother to her. Despite often seeming like nothing more than a fool, he deeply felt her pain in that heartbreaking moment.

The joyful plumber was now in complete disbelief. His eyes brimmed with tears that spilled down his cheeks. Overcome with emotion, he removed his hat with a trembling hand, unable to comprehend what was happening.

In the meantime, SMG3 and SMG4 were falling into an endless abyss.

The boy in the purple and black suit burst into a panic attack, surrounded by an oppressive silence. He took quick, deep breaths and looked around aimlessly.

He felt the rush of the fall piercing through his bones, and he couldn't believe that he was inching closer to such a violent death.

On the other hand, the Super Meme Guardian in the white overalls was too disoriented and unconscious to scream or feel fear.

Suddenly, time itself seemed to stop. Both of them were surrounded by a dark portal, covered in pencil paint. In that surreal moment, they experienced a dramatic transformation. Their bodies looked as if they had been sketched by an artist's hand.

Each part of them was outlined in thin black lines, their faces shaded in dark grey fading to a pale white and their hair was tinted glossy black.

In their original forms, their hairstyles were identical. The only things they didn't have in common were the colors of their uniforms, the symbols on their hats and their shoes. Plus, SMG3 had a beard, while SMG4 did not.

This last thing didn't seem to change, but both their clothes and their faces were filled with many more details.

SMG3's hair had become sharper, with his bangs highlighted by thin white streaks and tips as pointed as mountain peaks. Unlike SMG4's, which appeared softer and as fluffy as a cloud compared to his counterpart's.

Even the eyebrows had changed. SMG3 had a cut on his right one, drawn in a rush, while SMG4's were gently drawn onto his angelic face.

Within SMG3's eyes, a skull suddenly appeared. What could it possibly signify? His iconic symbol? A reminder of his role as the guardian of dead memes? Or perhaps, a dark warning of the death that was coming for him?

The buttons on 4's dungarees, which once simply held up the straps, had changed. Two smiles, their expression reflecting a sense of melancholy. Meanwhile, 3's had morphed into menacing skulls, each one a stark symbol of danger and death.
