"Yuna! Wake up right now!" I heard GuoGuo yell. I quickly got up, grabbing my bow that was beside me.
"What happened? Did the zombies get in?" I asked worriedly, looking around the room for threats.
"There's no threat, don't worry," GuoGuo said calmly, placing his hand on my shoulder. "So, I was messing with a radio last night and got a message from someone we know," GuoGuo explained, tightening his grip.
"Really?! Who? Are they okay? Do they know where the others ar-" I was asking questions very quickly before GuoGuo moved the hand on my shoulder to cover my mouth. He looked at me with those amber eyes that would always calm me down.
"Nien and Xion are hiding inside a mountain to the north of here. If we leave now, we should be able to arrive in the afternoon. Get your stuff and go to the trap door. I'll be waiting for you," GuoGuo instructed, walking to his room.
I grabbed the stuff I could put in my bag, carried my bow in my dominant hand, and placed some items in my pockets. I walked towards the trapdoor and waited for GuoGuo. Eventually, GuoGuo came out of his room with a couple of bags. "Hey, GuoGuo! Are we ready to go?" I asked the bear boy, smiling.
"Yes, but there is something that needs to be said," GuoGuo responded as he looked down and frowned. "If I get bit and can't move on, take my map and whatever you can carry, then you must leave me behind." I looked at GuoGuo in shock, tears threatening to spill out of my eyes at the thought of GuoGuo being injured, or even worse. Killed. A tap on my shoulder broke me out of my thoughts. "Let's go. Nien and Xion miss us."
