Alix

Senior year of high school is finally coming to an end, only 1 more month, "I thought". I'm walking down the hallway back from my 2nd suspension of the semester from getting in a fight with Alix . I won obviously, but I'm kinda overthinking it because he went very easy on me, he's extremely strong. Alix has been giving me dirty looks all day, and that scratch on his lip annoys me.im walking down the hallway when people start recording me and handing me flowers. "What's going on? Did somebody die or something?" As I kept walking down I saw the Soccer Jock, Ashton with a poster. It takes me a second to realize he's asking me to prom! I didn't like him, but he was cute and maybe I can grow to like him. " Madeline, will you go to prom with me?" Ashton asks with his cute smile, I love his dimples. "Yes! I will go to prom with you!" I say. He drops the poster to the floor and he hugs me and I hug him back. When I pull I away I smile and walk to class.I feel somebody's eyes on me though. I look around to see Alix staring at me with hatred and a hint of jealousy. I smile at him and walk to class. I fucking hate him but I wondered what that other feeling he has.

That Saturday.
The doorbell rings. You walk to the door and open it. " Finally, I was wondering when you were coming!" I say to my best friend, Rosalia. She walks in and says, "Let's get this sleepover started!" I laugh and run upstairs with Rosalia following me. We make TikToks, do our makeup, bake cookies and now It's 3 am and we're playing scary games on our phones. The doorbell rings. "Holy shit Maddie. I think the monster thing is here to get us!" She jokes around. " Real funny" I say rolling my eyes. I get up and open the door. "Hello?" I say turning on my porch light. "Hey" Alix says. I look at him and look back at Rosalia giving her the look to go upstairs and hide. " What do you want Alix?"
I say annoyed. " Just wondering If I can use your charger." He asks. " I'm lost and my phone is dead" . I sigh and let him in. " Here" I hand him the charger. " charge your phone right there, I'll be right back" I say making my way upstairs to my room.  " What does he want?" Rosalia asks. " The charger"  I respond. " Wait, why does he know your address?" She asks while chuckling a little bit. " Well.... I actually don't know." I say confused. " I'm gonna go ask him that. I walk back downstairs to find it pitch black. He turned off the lights. I scatter around trying to find the light switch and I bump into a wall, well at least that's what I thought. It is his chest. I look up, and the lights turn on. He's holding my waist and our faces are so fucking close. What is happening? He pulls me a bit closer and kisses me. He holds the back of my neck turning me, pinning me against the wall. Why aren't I stopping this? Why do I like it? The kiss gets way more passionate moving down my neck all the way to my collarbone. He pulls back and his light green eyes look at me softly and he grabs his phone and walks out, shutting the door behind him. I just stand there then run upstairs with a small smile on my face. Rosalia sits up when I walk in the room. " So?" She says. I look at her confused " why does Alix know where you live?" She asks with an inpatient look on her face. I make an excuse quickly. " He said he just picked the most innocent looking house" I say . " oh okay" she says quite disappointed. " We should go to sleep now we have plans in the morning" I say. Then we go to sleep

6:30 am
Rosalia wakes me up. I sit up rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. " you seem tired." Rosalia says little bit shocked. " I couldn't sleep" I say. I kept thinking about Alix. But I still hate him. " We should get going before my parents get back home." I say while hopping out of bed. We change and head downstairs. I grab my car keys and head outside to my car to find Alix sleeping in his car. " Holy shit! He stayed her for the night" Rosalia points out. I walk to his car and knock on his window till he wakes up while Rosalia gets in the car. " what do you want?" He asks. " You're outside my house and my parents cannot see you here so drive back to your home." I say annoyed already. " Fine " he says while starting his car. I start to walk to my car but then i hear him call me," Madeline, where are you going anyways?". I turn back facing him looking annoyed, " none of your business" I say while rolling my eyes. Rosalia gets out of the car and says" We're going to the abandoned hospital in Tree Falls Drive" I turned around and look at her annoyed. " Wanna come?" She adds. " No, she's joking!" I say " No I'm not it'd be nice to have an other person, hop in Alix"   Rosalia says. I roll my eyes as Alix approaches the car and gets in the back. I start the car and start driving towards starbucks. " This isn't an abandoned hospital" Alix says rally confused. " Well me and Rosalia want some coffee, would you like some?" I say with a nice smile on my face ignoring the fact that I hate Alix. " Sure I guess" He says sounding bored out of his mind. We wait in line for like 30 minutes, order then I actually start driving to the hospital.
