✨CHAPTER TWENTY THREE✨

✨Harley's POV✨
"School's over!!" Finally, I can go home now.

"See ya, Jay." Daniel yelled out to Jay, he has such a loud voice.

"Come on Harley" he grabbed my hand, which left me surprised. Where is he taking me? "To where Daniel?" I asked.

"Don't you remember, our da- I mean our Friendly hangout" oh... Now I remember, I have such bad memory.
"Oops, sorry, i forgot" I blurted.
"You were literally teasing me about it this morning, you have such bad memory, huh?" He poked my head.

"Whatever, let's go..." I glanced at Jay, who had an unreadable expression on, I gave him a little wave, then said "bye Jay, see ya tomorrow."

He waved back, and as usual, he didn't talk, I think he's mute or just doesn't wish to talk to any of us, even me, I'm so sad ಥ_ಥ.

"Ring~ Ring~"

"Oh! It's mom, give me a sec Harley."
It's best not eavesdrop, so I stood next to Jay.

"Hi mom, yep, school just finished... Oh? It's tomorrow? Right, it's my birthday. It slipped my mind."

Tomorrow is his birthday? And he didn't tell me? I feel betrayed.

"Daniel really looks like royalty."

"They say he's poor... Think that's true?"

I hate it when they say stuff like that about Daniel, I swear I'm gonna bite them.

"Poor beggar."

"His undershirt has no brand name."

"And no watch."

Alright, these guys are worse, I don't wanna get violent or else I'll get expelled, so I have to handle this in a civilized manner. By the way, where are all the teachers when you need them, it's like they're not even in this school at all.

"Mom you don't have to come...it's really okay." And with that, he ended the call with his mom.

"Let's go Harley" he slipped his hand into mine. His hand is so warm, this feels nice.

I could already feel the daggers being thrown at my head by the girls in the class. This room reeks of jealousy and I don't give a damn. They can be jealous for all I care, I hope this will make them stop drooling over Daniel anymore. The act like dogs whenever he's around and it pisses me off.

I buried my anger inside so I can focus on Daniel. "Where are we going Daniel?" I asked, with genuine curiosity. "It's a surprise" he simply said, we then walked out of the classroom, then out of the school.

The path he was leading me through was familiar but as I said before, my brain acts up sometimes.

✨Few hours later✨
Ahh... I knew it!! "Daniel, I didn't know you like the aquarium, thank you for bringing me here." I gushed over the fact Daniel brought me to the aquarium, I've only being here once and that was when I was younger, me and my family were on a trip to South Korea, and we made a stop to the aquarium and then I saw a cute dolphin and that was the beginning of my love of sea animals.

"Haha... No problem, I figured you'd like it here." He smiled. "But how did you know?" I questioned.

"I once saw you drawing a bunch of sea animals and you also have a dolphin themed key chain, so... I thought... That... You... Umm... Liked the aquarium." Oh my gosh, he's the sweetest person in the world.

"Thank you Daniel" I stood on my tippy toes because he's so tall, then gave him a big hug, he hugged me back, then said "you're welcome."

He buried his head into my neck, it kinda tickles but it's also a nice feeling. "Daniel... You're tickling me." I said. "Sorry" he released me from the hug, he had a nervous smile on his face and a light blush, he's so cute.

"No problem." I said "by the way, you didn't tell me tomorrow is your birthday, I would have gotten you something, now I have to stay up all night thinking of a gift to get ya." I pouted.

He pinched my left cheek, then said "i'm sorry I didn't tell you, it slipped my mind."
Ow, my cheek hurts. It was like he read my mind, he began to rub my cheek. His hands are so soft.
I learned into his touch because I was kinda enjoying it.

"Oh well, I'll get you a present tomorrow, so be prepared." I smiled. Goldie be prepared to lose some weight again.

This is one of the best days I've had since when I arrived in South Korea and it was all because of Daniel.
