The students who placed bets on me shift uncomfortably. Now, as I reveal my side of the story, Jungkook, Jackson, Irene, and Hwasa look horrified, realizing it was all a set up.
Jungkook shrinks in humiliation, his confident facade crumbling. He looks around, trying to find some support, but the disgusted and shocked faces of the students offer him none.
I step closer to him, a smirk playing on my lips. "Feeling a bit exposed, Jungkook? Did you really think you could toy with me and get away with it?"
Jungkook stammers, "Y/N, I... I didn't mean—"
Nina cuts him off. "Save it, Jungkook. You played a game and you lost. Pathetically."
Sumi steps forward. "You thought you could treat her like just another conquest. Well, guess what? She's smarter than you."
Jungkook looks down, his face reddening with shame. "I... I'm sorry. I didn't think—"
I laugh, a harsh, bitter sound. "No, you didn't think. You never think about anyone but yourself."
Nina smirks, folding her arms. "How does it feel to be outsmarted by the girl you thought was so naive?"
Jungkook's humiliation is palpable. His shoulders slump, and he can barely meet our eyes.
I take a deep breath, feeling the weight of the moment. "This is what happens when you treat people like objects, Jungkook. You end up alone and humiliated."
Jungkook's eyes well up with tears, but I have no sympathy left for him. This is his reckoning, and he deserves every second of it.
The crowd is silent, absorbing the gravity of what just happened. Sumi breaks the silence, addressing the students. "Let this be a lesson to all of you. People are not toys. Your actions have consequences."
I glance around, seeing the realization dawning on their faces. "It's not just about Jungkook. Everyone who participated in this bet shares the blame. Think about the impact of your actions on others."
Jackson, Irene, and Hwasa lower their heads, their faces flushed with shame. They shift uncomfortably, the gravity of their actions sinking in. It's clear they regret their part in this cruel game.
Jackson mutters, "We didn't think it would go this far..."
Hwasa nods, her voice trembling. "We never meant to hurt anyone like this."
Irene, usually so composed, looks on the verge of tears. "I... I thought it was just a harmless game."
I step closer to Irene as she steps back. "Harmless? You made bets on someone's dignity, on their emotions. There's nothing harmless about that."
She looks down, her face flushed with shame. "I... I'm sorry, Y/N. We didn't think it through."
Jungkook, on the other hand, is a picture of defeat. His eyes are wet with unshed tears, and he shrinks before us, utterly humiliated. The weight of his actions presses down on him, and he looks lost, like a child who finally understands the gravity of his mistakes.
I turn away from the pitiful sight, leading Sumi and Nina out of the classroom. The hallway feels different now. My mission is accomplished and I'm never coming back to this place again.
As we step outside the school, Nina pulls me into a tight hug. "Thank you, Y/N. For standing up for all of us."
Sumi joins in. "You showed them that they can't get away with treating people like that. You're incredible, Y/N."
I smile, hugging them both. "Thank you. I couldn't have done it without your support."
I thought Jungkook was ruthless, a boy without shame who used girls for his own pleasure. But seeing him now, so weak and regretful, makes me realize I misjudged him. He's not the monster I thought he was; he's just a boy who made a terrible mistake.
I've done something dangerous to him, something that's yet to unfold. When I was furious, I planned a punishment for him, something far worse than public humiliation.
I wonder if he can handle what's coming next. But it's too late to change anything. His punishment is already decided.
As I pull away from Nina and Sumi, I can't help but think about the consequences of my own actions. Have I gone too far?
What's done is done. I can only hope that Jungkook finds a way to rise above it, to become a better person
