Hundreds of families gathered at Platfom 9¾ to say goodbye as their children borded the Hogwarts Express to go off to Hogwarts.
The Black's all gathered in a large group together,Cygnus and Druella with their three daughters standing in front of them their "pride and joy" alongside Orion and Walburga and their children-they always got it better as they had convinced two boys-heirs just what every Black wanted.
"Trains boarding, hurry now" Druella smiled at the boys-ignoring her own children and the boys sister completely.
The kids all hurried along acting like they'd stay together knowing they'd go off into their own groups once they boarded the train.Sirius shoving his sister once he gained contact with James Potter who in Elladora's words was 'the most insufferable boy she'd ever met'. All the Black cousins had now moved to their own compartments with their own groups and the train was moving.
"Juliet!" Elladora exclaimed as she saw Juliet Potter, her bestfriend since first year, their families always met up as they both had pure blooded blood but the girls never really spoke until first year. The two girls hugged as they'd not saw each other for a few weeks.A few other girls joined the compartment they had taken for themselves and a loud chatter erruptated.
"So Alice,Apparently you and Frank saw an awful lot of each other over the holiday!" Lily questioned.
Alice's face went red with blush.
"Yeah,we hung out alot,It was just amazing" . The whole compartment erupted with laughter.
"Hello ladies" A long haired boy strutted in,the same voice that'd been annoying Elladora Black all summer.
"Sirius seriously,go away" Frustrating Elladora sighed.
He sat himself down next to a quiet girl,Mary McDonald.
"Still not speaking to me?" He put on a sad frown.
"Hey Lily"-James at his best efforts to make her like him said the same thing as every year. "You look pretty"
She gave him nothing but a look that'd kill him before he was even 22.
His face dropped-Elladora didn't want to but she couldn't help but feel sorry for him.Everyone and their dogs knew he liked her at this point he was basically a toy.
Two quiter boys stood at the entrance, one a quiet chubby short blonde boy who's face just glistened with a big goofy smile every time James or Sirius said anything or even looked at him,the other a rather tall boy who just stood giving a slight smile to the boys when they looked back to him.
They got up and left as the train got closer to Hogwarts.
"Lils you ever gonna give him a chance?" Alice returned the favour.
"Me? The wife of that cocky, spoiled boy? Never." Clearly annoyed.
"That's still my brother you know!" Juliet giggled.
"Oh yes;sorry Juliet your much better".Everyone got off the trian and eventually got inside the Great hall.
The first years were starting their sorting ceremony.Every time a kid was sorted applause took over the room, its always a little tiring.
Soon after Albus Dumbledore the headmaster gave his speech.
"Welcome back to those joining us again and welcome to our new starters.Welcome to a new year at Hogwarts! Before we begin our banquet I'd like to say some words-the past cannot be changed, edited,or erased. It can only be accepted. Now eat".After the feast everyone went to their dorms to unpack and relax. The slytherin dorm was filled with talk.
Regulus fit straight in,Ella didn't like seeing this, she felt as thought he was becoming his parents and that was the one thing she never wanted for
her brother. He was sitting around with groups of slytherin boys who believed in dark magic, very dark.
Elladora sat on a couch in the room reading a magazine about fashion,it was an intrest of hers but she knew she could never pursue it-not being a Black atleast.
Evan Rosier made his entrance by sneaking up behind Juliet witch Ella hadn't realised. She only heard him mention her name not paying much attention at all to anything he said.Ella hurried out the dorm but was stopped by Regulus.
"Where you going?"
"Walk,Reg.For a walk." She gave him a small smile and he began putting shoes on. She couldn't ever escape her brothers.
They walked around for a little just speaking and laughing-something they weren't used to at home.
"Hey Reg,do you like it here? Seriously" Staring at her little brother.
"Yeah,it's different but it's good"
He was still adjusting to being in a big place he hadn't quite got used to.
She pulled him into a hug, something they'd both not received in a long time.
