THE HOLIDAY

It was a small vacation because of the Christmas, so we decided that we will go out & about in the city & do some fun things, because it was kiki’s first time here after we shifted here & Ruhi also suggested this because I had not taken a break or got a chance to roam in the city because I had joined the business pretty much the next day we shifted to manor. So, I was really excited I called Mally & wished her merry Christmas, & also told about the most embarrassing & bone breaking incidents of life from the party. We talked a lot & I looked at wall watch & got shocked because it was almost time & I should start getting ready now, so wished her bye & quickly moved my feet in the room, which was still in the slight pain but I had already taken the fair amount of pain killer’s dose. Because, I hate to limp over & gather people’s sympathy stares, I wore red tank top, light blue jeans, & my white sneakers with light gold dainty jewellery which complimented this style of clothing.

I kept my hair as they were cause they still had the signs of curly waves which I did yesterday, put on some blusher & brown nude lipstick. When I was getting ready the little devil comes & suggests me to put a bow pin in my hairs, which I refused it made me look like a little high school girl, in which she insisted to me on wearing & I never had the option on denying to my darling Kiki. I took my white sling bag which was brand new & gift from Kiki as our Christmas ritual & she wore the heels I gifted to her, then we got out at the front door which was opened by the butler & we spot Ruhi in the car right outside, as we sat inside I notice someone else’s presence too, it was Nivin I got irritated by just looking at him, he was still wearing his boring suit even at a casual outing like this, may god bless his fashion sense. We rolled out & reached to cafe to get some snacks & coffee, we stay inside & Nivin goes to place order inside.

“Ok, no offense but what happened to girl’s day out Ruhi, why is your brother here?”, “I know, but when I was leaving dad came out of his room & investigated me & also sent him with me, because he got to knew about yesterday’s incident with you & did not want that to happen again so he sent him, because at this point he did not want to put bodyguard at job too”. “I can’t believe him, does he really thinks that we girls can’t protect our self, it’s pathetic”, “I know, but somehow I & Nivin convinced him to don’t share this matter with your grandpa so, you are safe now”, “Ohh, thank god Ruhi, thanks man”, “Well, to be honest it was all Nivin’s convincing, do you really think my dad would take my suggestion or ever hear my request”, I was wonderstruck WHHAATTT he really convinced his father against Mr. Ranawat, & I remembered previous night when he told me not to worry about the incident & that the boss won’t scold me, so this is what he meant yesterday. I was looking outside while being in my thoughts & suddenly saw him waving at me he wanted my help in carrying the food & drinks, I looked at those two but they were having a indulging conversation about who is more hot Chris Evans or Chris Hemsworth I leave them to that & got out to help Nivin.

I took drinks & he took snacks, he was looking at me, “Thankss, for yesterday & for today as well”, I can see he got confused he raised his eyebrow, it was his way of asking or communicating he was not more of a word’s person but expression person. “I mean you told Mr. Chopra not to share about yesterday’s event to Mr. Ranawat, thanks for that, if he would know about it he might have suspended him from the company & would have also made sure that he doesn’t get job anywhere else too”. “What?? Are you insane, no because you are still thinking about Josh who tried to hurt you yesterday”, he looked so pissed as well confused because of what I said “No, I mean of course he was guilty for what he did but it was in the party & not on office hours then I would have suspended him myself, but he was not himself yesterday & plus personal life should be kept far away from professional life, & I got to know that he did not have made any mistakes since the day he joined the company, even as a trainee, so he should not be punished because of something like that”, Nivin was speechless he was just glaring at me.
