Ruby was stabbed in the heart by accident from Weiss during their training, they couldn't save her, as Ruby was floating in what seems like a dark void she suddenly hears someone ask her if she wants to be revived, she want to live again, suddenly she was reborn again, but this time she did not know what she was other then one thing... she is now a monster and she felt a lot of pain...
