I woke up to my early blasting across my room , the voice of lauryn hill filled my head as I got up to turned it off. I looked around and my eyes landed on my calendar.. that stupid investor event is today for my dad.
I rolled my eyes just another night I had to indulge with because of him. I put on some clothes that was on the floor and went downstairs to eat breakfast
"Raj?" My dad said I turned to him chugging the orange juice straight from the bottle "yes?" He shooked his head "my love why do you insist doing that? Use a glass and a coaster. Can you get your brother ready? The event starts in a hour and it's a thirty minute drive"
"It's morning dad why do I have to get him ready?" He shook his head again "baby it's five twenty how early do you think it is?" I rolled my eyes and put the juice back in the fridge
"Okay daddy" I went back upstairs and laid in my bed for about two minutes before deciding to go to my before "heyy Aaron" his whole face lit up when he seen me
"RAJ!" He ran to me and I lifted him and held him "it's time to get ready!" He looked at me and played with my hair , he's only three so he really didn't know any better "otay" I put him down and went to his drawers
I pulled out a blue polo shirt with black jeans and some Jordan's 1's to match "you ready bubba?" He smiled " I gonna get you" I chased him around the room and grabbed him at the last minute giving him a tickle attack "raj! I can't breathe" he said while literally laughing
I stood him up and started to get him dressed "why do we have to meet these people?" - "because it makes our father a whole lot richer" he didn't seem to like that
"Raji?" His eyebrows were furrowed together with his lip poking out "yes nuni ?" - "I don't like when poppa makes us talk to people! I be scared" I tilted my head "why?" - "because they look so mean" i couldn't deny that
"Well we just have to pretend for tonight okay?" He nodded and I gave him a hug before leaving his room as I walked along the rails Marcus called my name making me look down
"Yes Marcus?" - "not delighted to see me?" I shook my head and he smiled softly his beautiful dimples was shown "what do you want Marcus?" He ran upstairs to get to me "you Taraji" - "and how many times have I told you that you can't have me?
"Countless" I messed with his bottom lip before leaving him standing there , that's probably why he keeps bothering me
