The End!
Thank you to everyone who's made it this far. A year ago, I stumbled across the photo of Hyunjin that is now the cover of this story. My first thought was that he looked like an angel; my second thought was that he also looked like some drunk college frat boy who was locked out of his room. Thus was the inspiration for this piece. I made it to chapter 3 before I burnt myself out and the good old writers' block came back, and I kept changing the characters and the plot even after I kept writing it, never really happy with it. Even now, I'm still not quite satisfied with the ending. I have an alternative ending (that's a lot less happy) in my drafts that I might add if I ever get around to polishing it up a bit. But if you guys like it, I'm glad. :)
All in all, thank you again to everyone who read and enjoyed These Lonely Nights. (The title is also, apparently, the same as a Willie Nelson song. I was going to change it but I realized the lyrics actually kind of fit, so give it a listen if you want). And please do not copyright, infringe, or plagiarize my story. Happy reading!
