Capturing Her Heart

I took a peak at the time and yawned softly, it was going on 4am. I placed my phone back down by my side and looked up at Eil who, was convinced something she found had a cryptic message attached to it.

"What if you're over analyzing it and they're just words?" I sighed

She looked up at me and rolled her eyes. Her eyes trailed off behind me and I turned to follow her gaze. I softly chuckled, I wonder how long she's been asleep.

I stood up and lifted the cover over her. I bent down and placed a soft kiss to her forehead. She softly sighed and her hand stuck out the cover, grabbing mine gently.

I gave her hand a soft squeeze and she released mine, tucking it back into the cover. She turned over and blew out a small huff. I turned back around and saw Eil had a confused expression

"What was that last part about?" She asked

"It was her telling me to get some sleep." I shrugged

She raised an eyebrow and tilted her head. Her eyes trialed back to Kari who was now, softly snoring. Her eyes soon returned to me and she hummed softly

"I'm just glad things are good between the two of you and that I was able to help out in your love life." She smiled

I returned the smile and returned my attention back to the object in my hand. Before I could continue to analyze it, my phone began to ring.

I picked it up and looked at the caller id, I lowly sighed as I saw it was Kia. It could be a number of things she has to discuss with me but, why does it have to happen this earlier.

I placed the object down and grabbed my phone. Before I could fully decide on whether to answer it or not, the call ended. I lowly sighed and placed my phone back down.

I heard Eil stand so, I looked over to her direction and saw she had once again, became frustrated. I didn't know if she was a deep sleeper or not but, I guess I'm about to find out.

"We have been at this for hours, I give up! God, I'm tired and I have to be up for school in literally two hours. I didn't have time for this to begin with!" She yelled

She threw the object in her hand down and turned to the door. I quickly looked over to Kari and lowly sighed when I saw she was wide awake. I took a look down at the object and raised my eyebrow at what I saw

"Eil, wait." I called out

She sighed and turned towards me

"What, what am I waiting for?" She huffed

"I think you had what we were looking for this whole time." I replied

I heard her walk towards me and she softly gasped. I soon felt another presence next to me and I knew, Kari had gotten out of bed to also take a look

I picked the object up and examined it. I had no idea what it was or why such a thing was so important. I lowly sighed, I thought when I had found it I'd feel better but, I don't.

"This can't possibly be what she wants, right?" Eil questioned

"I have no idea." I sighed

"Now that we have it, what do we do now?" Kari spoke up

I stood up and turned towards them. If we were in a better position, I would've laughed at the fact their expressions mimic each other.

"For now, we're going to store it somewhere else and then we sleep. You can sleep in Eil but, that does not mean today should be unproductive for you. Okay?" I explained
