"There is someone special for each of us. Often, two, three, or even four beings are destined for us. They belong to different generations and travel through the seas of time and the vastness of the heavens to meet us again. They come from the other side, from heaven. Their appearance may be different, but our heart recognizes them because it has loved them in the moonlit deserts of Egypt and the ancient plains of Mongolia. With them, we have ridden in remote armies of warriors and lived in caves covered with ancient flour. We are bound to them by the ties of eternity, and they will never abandon us.

Our mind may say 'I don't know you,' but the heart knows them. They take our hand for the first time, and the memory of that contact transcends time and shakes every atom of our being. We look into their eyes and see a soulmate across the centuries. Our heart skips a beat. Goosebumps rise on our skin. In that moment, nothing else matters.

They may not recognize us even though we have finally found each other again, although we know who they are. We feel the bond that unites us. We also sense the possibilities of the future. However, they do not see it. Their fears, their intellect, their problems form a veil that covers the eyes of their heart and does not allow us to remove it. We suffer and lament while the individual in question continues on their path. Such is the fragility of destiny.

The passion that arises from mutual recognition surpasses the intensity of any volcanic eruption, releasing tremendous energy.

We can recognize our soulmate immediately. Suddenly, a feeling of familiarity overwhelms us. We feel that we already know this person deeply, at a level that transcends consciousness, with a depth normally reserved for the closest members of the family. Or even deeper. Intuitively, we know what to say and how they will react. We feel immense security and trust, not acquired in days, weeks, or months.

But recognition often occurs slowly and subtly. Consciousness is illuminated as the veil is lifted. Not everyone is ready to perceive it instantly. We must wait for the right moment, and the person who realizes it first must be patient.

Thanks to a glance, a dream, a memory, or a feeling, we can come to recognize a soulmate. Their hands do not touch us or their lips do not kiss us, and yet our soul suddenly comes alive.

The contact that awakens us may be that of a child, sibling, relative, or intimate friend. Or it may be our beloved who, through the centuries, comes to us and kisses us again to remind us that we will always remain together, until eternity."
