Chapter 2- First day of school

As more days have passed, it was time for you to start your sophomore year at Franklin High School. You and your mom walked into the attendance office and talked to the secretary who was sitting at the desk. She was a beautiful woman with long gray hair that was up in a hair clip. She had a plaid shirt on with some black pants to match with the shirt. She greets you with a kind smile and asks for your name. Once you got settled, she gave you a piece of paper with your schedule of your class periods on it.

First period : Algbera 1
Second period: History
Third period: Biology
Fourth period: lunch
Fifth period: Pychology
Sixth period: English III
Seventh period: Art

As you look over your schedule, your mom tells you that she has to go to work and that she loves you. While watching your mom leave, you ask the secretary where Algbera 1 is, and she walks you to the class. The secretary knocked on the door and then opened it. You looked into a room full of students that had their books open to a page the teacher was teaching on. As the door swung open, the teacher looked at the door and met your eyes.

Teacher: "Well, you must be my new student. Y/N? Is it?"

You: "Yep, that's me. Standing here, waiting for a seat to sit in." You said nervously under your breath.

Teacher: "I believe there is an open seat next to Afton. I swear he won't bite you."

Looking at the point the teacher pointed at, you started to feel flustered. With your red cheeks, you started walking to the seat he was next to. As you put your bag down as the fading voice of the teacher, teaching the lesson. You started to pull out a notebook and wrote down what was on the board.

         *About 10 minutes has gone by*

Afton: "Hey, what's your name again, new kid?"

You: "Um. It's Y/N"

Afton: "Cool. Well. You know my name."

You giggled a little and then focused back onto the teacher. After 30 minutes, the bell rang for the second period. You went to history and learned about the Civil Rights Act. Then third period came, and you got to disect a frog. Then, the rest of the day was a blur. You didn't eat much of your lunch and kept to yourself, drawing in one of your notebooks. As the last bell rang for the day, you started to walk home. While walking home, you saw a run-down house that looked like one of the houses off of a movie you watched. You got curious of what the inside of it looked like and how creepy it would be. As you kept looking into the house. You saw a silhouette of a man that had on a mask. Could it be? No. He's not a real person. But the mask looked just like him.

As you saw the man standing in the window, you started to dash home. You were about 5 minutes home when you thought it was safe to start walking again. Then, you felt like someone was watching over you. So, as someone does, you looked over your shoulder. What you saw was the same man standing in the middle of the road with a knife in his hand. Once you saw him, you raced to your front door and slammed it shut. You walked into the house and locked the front door. You knew it was him. Ghostface. He looked the same as he does in the movies you used to watch. As you remembered. You locked all of the windows downstairs and ran upstairs to check the windows up there. Once you go upstairs, you saw Soot sitting on your bed with your dad's hoodie. You saw him laying on it and purring. You sat down your bag and laid next to Soot and your dad's hoodie.

After you woke up from falling asleep with Soot. You checked your phone to see if your mom has texted you.

New notification from Mom ♡

Mom ♡

Hey baby, I'll be home late tonight. I have to finish up on my project and then I'll be home. There should be a 20 on top on the counter in the kitchen. You can order some pizza or whatever you want for dinner. I'll grab something on the way home.

"Great, mom won't be home anytime soon. Well, that means we have the house to ourselves. Soot. Lets go downstairs and watch a movie."  Talking to your kitten. As you make yourself downstairs you called the nearest pizza place and ordered a pepperoni pizza with jalapeños on it. After hanging up the phone, you grabbed a can of wet cat food and gave Soot some food. Then, you put on Halloween while you waited for the pizza guy to deliver the pizza.
