"You may now kiss the bride" he doesn't, he turned around and walked away, he was done, he had claimed me, he doesn't care what happens now. Romeo is an ugly soul, do not let his name fool you, he has an ugly soul. I walk down the aisle following him because no matter how evil he is i will not be humiliated by him.
The wedding had been concluded and I'm surrounded by thousands of reporters taking pictures and videos reminding me of how powerful the man i married is.
"Mr. Kalligero do you mind telling us why you chose to marry Mrs. Martinesse? Is it a crime of love or something more?" I clench my fist Romeo won, he forced me into this position but I swear I'll bring his empire down and I'll make him beg for my mercy. I bring kings to their knees and Romeo is just another one with way too many guards protecting him but he is no different I will make him get on his knees the same way he made me.
"Correction. She is Mrs. Kalligero now and we came to a mutual understanding that we going neck and neck for the same thing was....childish, so i bought her company and she works under me now" I swear I could see the sadism in his eyes.
"So Mr. Kalligero how many employees do you have now? With the amount you have I'm sure you'll come out number one again" His reply was immediate and you could tell he fully believed every word. "None. Only acolytes. When this much money and power is involved, business turns into religion and offices become temples" and the reporters ate it up.
I follow Romeo and people who I've never seen or heard of congratulate me
"Congratulations on your wedding"
"You guys are so cute" Romeo smiled through it all while i wanted to slit the throat of the next person who spoke.
Romeo's smile fell upon us reaching a table, there was a man who looked to be in his late fifties and a woman in her early fifties, they looked wary and cautious like speaking to him would cause them to explode. "What are you doing here? I know you weren't invited"
"Mora invited us" he sighs
"I'm uninviting you. Leave before I lose my cool"
"Romeo...amore we are family-" he cuts them off
"Do i look like i give a shit?" he says walking away indicating he was done with the conversation. That is him, Romeo Kalligero the rudest man alive.
"Well look who is married" the head of the Italian mafia Dante Mancino said wlking towards us with two other public figures behind him. Dante Mancino, Dominick Romano and Armando Sornville, this three are the only people that Romeo openly calls friends and allow to do things that would get others killed, Well maybe thats because they all are powerful and dangerous killers also.
Dante Mancino is the head of the Italian mafia.
Armando Sornville is one of the world's deadliest bodyguard, he grew up in the military.
And Dominick Romano is the owner of Romano industries a cyber security expert.
Romeo rolls his eyes at him "Everyone gets married Dante. You also got married it isnt a big deal" Dante laughs
"Mine was of circumstance"
"Then take mine as one of circumstance also" Armando looks at me then back at Romeo
"Right. Romeo this is a revenge or forced marriage kind of thing or ruining someone's life like you like to do usually right?" Dominick smiles
"I knew it. You hate the idea of marriage so you marrying the girl that almost reached up to you is a way of getting rid of competiton plus don't even think you can lie to us that you love her the girl has been glaring at you like she wants to kill you"
Romeo smiles "She can't do anything"
Dante raises an eyebrow at that "You aren't one to underestimate people so why are you underestimating a girl who has hatred for you?"
Romeo's grin grew wider "I'm not underestimating her nor stopping her, I'm not holding her hand or looking at her, she may stab me at any time and i won't do anything to her" all three men turn to look at me and i hate how right he is. He turns to look at me "Right Mrs. Kalligero?" he emphasised on his last name and i wanted nothing more than to destroy his perfectly sculpted face. "I would never try to kill you Mr. Kalligero" alone atleast i said emphasising on his last name because im serious i would never try to kill him what good would his death do to me? Its better to make him beg for his death and ruin him.
"Because your death won't do anything to me or for me. I will ruin you Romeo trust me" he smiles while Dante chuckled his other two psycho's looked amused .
"A new twist to Romeo and Julliet. Julliet wants to be the one to kill Romeo and won't die for him again while Romeo holds Julliet's life in his hand what an ironic tragedy, a Vengeance love story. Perfect".
Okayyyy so I've published the first chapter tell me if its good guys really i have high hopes for this story.
