14 years ago...

(2 year old Shadow's POV)

I was sitting on a chair alone in the hospital because my mom got a check up. I got bored and decided to walk around. I know what your thinking, how come a mother would leave her own son in the waiting room all alone. Well let's just say that I'm very mature of my age and I can also help mom with the chores in the house since my dad died.

I started walking around to find something interesting until I saw a hedgehog lady with a big bump on her belly. I think she's having a baby, why? Bc my mom told me about that.

I ran up to her "Your baby is gonna be so cute" I said.
"Aww thanks dear" the kind lady said as a nurse came to her and told her to come in. We said our goodbyes and I happily skip all the back to the waiting room and found my mom. With worries I her eyes. Oh well looks like I'm going to be grounded.

Few years later...

(Shadow's POV)

I was nervous as I walk with my boyfriend Sonic to his mom's house. Sonic was two years younger than me and we were dating for 3 years now and we also got in the same class don't asked me why. Sonic wanted me to meet his mom. And now I was nervous.

"Hey are you ok?" Sonic asked. "Yeah a little, I'm just worried if she doesn't accept me" I said. "Don't worry my mom will definitely accept, she's the nicest person I've ever known" he said. "I hope your right" I said as we made it.

Sonic knock on the door as a familiar hedgehog opened it. "Hey mom!" Sonic said as he hug her as my eyes widened. "Hello sweetheart, and come on in" she said as we walked inside and sat on the couch I sat next to Sonic as Sonic's mom sat next to Sonic. "Mom this is my boyfriend Shadow" he said. His mom look at me and her expression was a surprise look. I think she remembered me I went towards and said.

"Your baby is so cute!"

I said as I was Infront of her. "Well it's nice to see you again dear" she said. I look back and saw my boyfriend with a speechless expression. "Do you know each other?" He asked. "Sonic do you remember when I your still in my belly and than a young boy walked up to me and said 'your baby is gonna be so cute'?" She asked. "Yeah" he said. "Well that young man is your boyfriend Shadow". At that Sonic was speechless and turned to me and asked. "Your the kid!?". I nodded and said. "Yes I am and I'm not even wrong either you are cute" I said as I pinch his cheeks. "Shut up!" He said while pouting. Me and Sonic's mom laugh as I kissed him on the cheek.
