More than Friends

Chapter 1

Noa's POV
-
Today started off as a normal day. I woke up, showered and got dressed. I did slight makeup. Nothing heavy just simple winged eyeliner, mascara and baby lips. My outfit was nothing special. Just leggings and one of Nate's sweatshirts. It was a little chilly today anyway. And since I live in Nebraska, I never trusted the weather. I finished my look with a beanie. I put on my all black vans and waited outside for Nate to pick me up. I see him pull up in his black 2015 Cadillac Escalade. I smile and hope into the passenger seat.
"Hey princess!" Nate smiles, showing his dimples.
"Hello Nathan." I say, returning the smile.

I plug my phone into the aux cord, and start blasting Jack and Jack. Them being some of my best friends, I couldn't wait to move out to L.A. This summer. So happy this is the last week of school.

-Skip to school-

Nate drops me off and I put in my headphones and head to my locker. I'm not really too social at school. Most of Westside has sluts, and prick jocks. Once I reach my locker and put away what I don't need and keep what I need, I feel my phone buzz. I look down at my phone and it reads text from Nate.

Skate 😍
Be careful today princess. See you after school!

I hit send and I start walking to home room.
Once I reach it I sit down in my seat and see the one and only Aidan. He's super sweet and really cute. He smiles a toothy grin and motions for me to pull out my headphones. I do so and give a confusing look.

"Would you maybe wanna go out this Friday?"
I smile slightly and respond
"Sure why not."
"Great. Text me!" He says and walks back to his seat.

The rest of the day went by smoothly and not a worry at all. When I hear the final bell ring I go to my locker and put headphones in again and grab my stuff. I start to walk back home. You see our routine is he picks me up and drives me to school, while I walk home and make us a snack and then he comes over. I reach my house and see nobody is home.
"Hmm that's weird." I think. Usually my dad is home drinking by now. I walk into the kitchen and make me and Nate sandwiches. I set everything on the table and get my books out to do homework. I was maybe 15 minutes into doing homework when Nate bursts through the door looking upset.
"You're going out with fucking Aidan?" He asks angrily.
"Yeah... It's a one time thing." I pause. "Why is it a bad thing?" I question.
"I jut don't have a good feeling about him." He says, almost looking like he's about to flip shit. I stand up and give him a hug. He hugs me tight and whispers in my ear.
"Be careful with him. He's not known to be good to girls." He's says and pulls away.
I nod and we sit down to eat our sandwiches and just talk about our day. "I hope you know I won't replace you." I say in between bites.
"Of course I know that princess." He says smiling slightly. But enough for a dimple to form.

-Nate's POV before arriving at Noa's-

I was on my way to Noa's like every other day and Stew decides to text me.

I hit send and speed the rest of the way to Noa's. I really hope this isn't true...
