                                    CHAPTER 2

                          NHLAKANIPHO ZULU

I heard a loud knock on the door. Mmm, I sometimes hate being at home because they disturb my peace. I ignored the person who was knocking, but they didn't stop knocking.

Nhlaka: (Annoyed) Who is it?
Lisa: Open the door.

It's my lil sister-what does she want from me? I stood up and went to open the door.

Nhlaka: What do you want?
Lisa: I need to go to school.
Nhlaka: So?
Lisa: Can you take me to school?
Nhlaka: Lisa you have a car.
Lisa: I don't have fuel.
Nhlaka: You have a driver.
Lisa: Nhlaka please.
Nhlaka: Oky fine.
Lisa. Thank you (Smiling) Dress to kill.
Nhlaka: Mxxm, whatever.

I closed the door and freshened up. I opted for a Black relaxed t-shirt, Black Cargo pants and Black Air Jordan 1 Sneakers. Then I sprayed my LV Cologne. I added a silver chain on my neck to complete the look.

I went downstairs and found Lisakhanya packing her bag. I walked to the fridge and took  out a bottle of water.

Nhlaka: Where is Mom?
Lisa: She went out with dad for breakfast.
Nhlaka: Oky, let's go.

We went to the car and she played her playlist, I drove to our destination and I realised that she wanted to say something to me.

Nhlaka: Talk.
Lisa: (Confused) Huh?
Nhlaka: What's wrong?
Lisa: Please don't freak out.
Nhlaka: What have you done Lisakhanya Zulu?

Lisa: I-I

I arrived at her campus and parked, then turned to look at her.

Lisa: You are going on a date with one of my friends.
Nhlaka: Why?
Lisa: She likes you and she has been asking me to talk to you on her behalf.
Nhlaka: And you decided to trick me into this stupid date?
Lisa: Come on, I'll do anything for you.
Nhlaka: Anything?
Lisa. Yeah.
Nhlaka: Okay, but you owe me.Let's go.

When we got out of the car and ladies' eyes were on us. We walked towards the campus and two girls walked towards us.

Lisa:(She nudged my arm) Here they come, be nice.
Nhlaka: Okay,
Lisa: (Smiling) Hey guys!!

They exchanged hugs.

Lisa: Guys, this is my brother Nhlakanipho, Nhlaka this is Nkalipho my friend, and Sbahle my friend that you are taking on a date.

Why is God doing this to me? Why do I have to go with Sbahle?

Nhlaka: (Smiling) Hi.
Lipho: (Smiling shyly) Hey.

Wow her smile, Sbahle held my hand.

Sbahle: Hey.
Lisa: Uhmm yeah, bye you should go now.
Nhlako: Bye.

I said looking at Nkalipho and she starred at me.

Lipho: Bye.

Sbahle pulled me by my hand and I opened the door for her. She got in the car and I closed the door and also got in the car, then I drove away.

Sbahle: So where are you taking me?
Nhlaka: I haven't decided.
Sbahle: How about we go to "The Classics"?

Is she in her right state of mind? Does she really think that she'll go to the most expensive restaurant in Sandton with my money on a date that I didn't even ask for NEVER.

Nhlaka: Nah, I don't like their food. Infact I'm craving some tribe.
Sbahle: (Shocked) Tribe?
Nhlaka: Yeah, I'm a Zulu man.
Sbahle: Let's go to "Pearls" then.
Nhlaka: We'll go to Pedros.
Sbahle: No, I'd rather go to McDonald's.
