Left my bed feeling lonely,
the pillow's missing my warmth.
How are you the only soul awake?
Whenever I feel like I'm falling away.

Can't sleep, been staring at the ceiling
Wondering whether a gambler knows when their luck runs out
Or rolls the dice until their bank start weeping

I guess things just happen, leaving us lost without a doubt 😶

Sounds like you're done with life, you alright?

Well, I just lost the quarters to play at happiness, not a single dime in sight. 🙃

The night's a liar, whispers only what will end.
Open your contacts, give them your heart to mend

My friends are whispers in a crowded, echoing hall,
Lost in their own stories, they wouldn't hear my fall.
But your voice, a melody that lingers in my mind,
A comfort, a compass, a solace I can't find

Stuck in a holding pattern, wings clipped and frayed,
But comfort's a crutch, not the runway remade.
Dissect this ache, this hollowness deep,
Unravel the knots, where the shadows creep.

I've chased down the source, chased phantoms all night,
But the answers are whispers, lost in the fading light.
Right now, all I crave is somebody to hold me tight [deleted]

That draft you left open? Chills the soul, I suppose.
To be honest, I wouldn't let that idea go. 😉
Forget the cold world, its dramas and woes.
Let them fade with the night, it can just be us talking until the morn
