The next day of the exhibition went by without issue. Ava and Kaiden had even returned to their hotel room early, as the white haired woman flips through TV channels, seemingly out of boredom. She soon hits Brandt's main news channel, and listens in.
"And now, onto current events. MHA's newest robot, Brave King, is currently down for maintenance for the next couple of days. After the recent battle with an electrical monster in City B-20, Brave King has sustained damages to its main energy system, and is in dire need of repair." A reporter woman says on the TV. "Anton Herrscher, CEO of Blitz Industries has also announced that the launch of their newest product, "Guiding Star", will be operational by the end of this week, and is expected to launch again this Saturday."
Ava watches with narrow eyes, as she rolls out of bed. "Alright Kaiden. I'm heading out." She says.
"I'll get my task done then." He nods, and stands up as well.
Ava gives him a thumbs up, and the two walk out. Ava makes her way to the city's MHA base, as Kaiden splits off to another part of the city. Once she arrives, she looks over her shoulder and nods to herself, then enters the base quietly. All of the heroes should have gone home for the day by now, so it would be a quick in and out investigation. As she explored, she made her way to the bunker and laid eyes on Brave King once again. "Hello, big guy." She greets the robot and walks over to the work table to check out its blueprints once again. She had looked at them on the first day of the exhibition, and confirms her suspicions. Just as she was about to take the blueprints, a spotlight shone directly on her, which made her smile.
"You do know that you're trespassing on private property, right?" A male voice speaks from one of the elevated platforms. It begins to lower down, and reveals the source of the voice was Kenta Mitsusada.
"The doors were still open, so I let myself. Besides, I have permission to be here." Ava says.
"The boss didn't tell me that there would be any visitors. Please leave, or I will call the Brandt Aurora Police on you." He threatens her.
"Ahhh... About them." Ava flashes a cocky smile, as she pulls out a piece of paper. "Mr. Kenta Mitsusada, under the authority of the Brandt Aurora Police, you are under arrest." She says.
"What? Me? Under arrest? On what grounds?" He asked.
"Let's see what Warden Snow put here... Conspiracy, destruction of public and private property, criminal negligence, AND reckless endangerment of civilian lives." She lists all the crimes he's committed in the past week, which shocked him.
"Okay... Some of those are quite logical. But conspiracy? Are you out of your mind?" He asked with narrowed eyes.
"Nah, I'm perfectly sane. Also, don't mess with a genius. Want me to go into detail?" Ava asked. She didn't even wait for his answer, as she starts yapping again. "The first day of the exhibition. A monster suddenly appears in the City and attacks the exhibition venue, and the only way to stop such a big, bad beast is MHA's newest robot. Then, on the launch day of Blitz's Euryanthe. City B-20 is owned and operated by Blitz Industries. They handle all their problems themselves, or they die trying. The monster was specifically chosen to make the whole city and its defenses useless, as Brave King swoops in and saves the day!" She smiles, and suddenly turns serious. "How did you know B-20 was under attack, anyway?" She tilted her head. "There was no news broadcast while it was happening. Everything was being shut down from electromagnetic pulses."
Kenta narrows his eyes. "And what exactly does that prove?" He questioned her logic.
"It means that you, specifically, know when and where a monster is going to show up. That's a liiiiitle sus, don't ya think?" Ava keeps her shit eating grin as she talks. "Oh, and also this."
