That night we both went to our homes.
I went to the dining room to see if my family was in there, and they were.
My father, John, and my brother, Christian, were sitting at the table waiting for my mother to finish dinner.
My father was reading a newspaper, I think he's one of the few people I knew who still read newspapers.
He is tall and robust, with straight brunette hair a beard, and brown eyes.
My brother was 10 years older than me, tall, with black hair and brown eyes, attractive, when I was a kid I remember he brought all kinds of girls to my house.
My mother, Jessica, was in the kitchen finishing dinner, she is skinny with black hair and green eyes, really beautiful.
I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and looked at myself in the mirror, I hated what I saw.
I'd never been such a confident girl, mostly because of all the bullying I suffered, I was robust, just like my father, with long straight black hair, like my mother, a really pale skin tone, and big hazel eyes, which made all the kids in my school told me I looked like a fat ghost.
I went to the dining room and sat next to my brother, my mother was just serving dinner.
- "How was your day Sophie? You spent more time than usual outside" my mother asked.
- "I was playing with the new neighbor, Ethan" I said.
- "Oh that's right, the new neighbors, John, we must invite them to dinner one of these days to welcome them" my mother said to my father.
- "Yes, sure" My father answered, not paying too much attention.
- "What were you doing with the new neighbors?" Christian asked me.
- "Well... I wanted to play with Ethan" I answered.
- "Aww... is he your new boyfriend?" Said my brother laughing.
My father suddenly stopped reading his newspaper with the word "boyfriend"
- "Eww noo!" I said slightly blushing.
- "Christian, stop bothering your sister and let us finish this dinner in peace please" My mother interrupted.
- "Fine" Christian said.
We all finished our dinners and I went to my room.
I put on my unicorn pajamas and looked out of the window, hoping the room facing my window from the neighbor's house was Ethan's room.
But the curtain was closed, so I gave up on looking and went to my bed.
I was super excited to see Ethan the next day.
