Just a Dream

I woke up prepared to do my boring everyday routine but noticed a slight change in my room, it was a bit bigger and much fancier, which was odd but I decided to disregard it. I dragged myself down the stairs and headed to the kitchen to make myself breakfast, most likely a pop-tart, I found a note on the counter.

"Charlie, We're out of town for a few weeks we left you money and food. Have fun and be safe we love you. Love, mom and dad"

Nice I've got the whole house to myself.

I grabbed a pop-tart from the cabinet and ate it quickly. I decided to go for a run and get coffee so I jogged up the stairs to my room.

I opened my closet and screamed. "What the hell?! Where did all these clothes come from?"

I looked through my newly acquired wardrobe and threw on running shorts, a sports bra, and a tank top. I grabbed my phone noticing it was a newer version. I skipped down the stairs and walked out the front door. I put in my earbuds and started my run to the coffee shop.

Running is awful. Why do I do this. Aw yeah this song's my jam. Oh cute boy... Nooopppeee not cute never mind. Oh, the coffee shop!

I pulled open the shop's door and stepped up to the counter to order.

"I'll have an iced caramel macchiato with two creams and one sugar." Mmm that guy behind the counter is pretty cute. His name tag says Will.... That's a hot name.

I smiled as Will handed me my drink and he winked at me.

Holy shit did he just wink at me. Oh. My. God. He's s- "Umm are you okay?" He questioned.

"Oh yeah no I'm good, I'm chill, I'm chillll."

"Okay well anyway.. What's your name?"

"I'm Charlie."

"Cute name. I'm Will. So Charlie do you think I could possibly get your number?"

Wait. WAIT. WHAT?! Stay calm Char calm. "Oh yeah sure" I grabbed the nearest napkin and pen and wrote down my number hastily before handing it to Will.
