"IN TODAY'S KAIJU NEWS UPDATE! 

According to the Japan Anti-Kaiju Defense Force, their statistics have shown that there has been a fairly large increase in the surge of abnormal kaiju for this year compared to recent years and even decades! Additionally, they expect more abnormal kaiju to come. This news has caused mild panic and anxiety to the public however, do not fret. The Defense Force has reassured that they are capable of handling the situation however and whenever it may arise. Captain Mina Ashiro has provided a few words to give us relief-"

The figure removed the earpiece that she has been wearing before releasing a sigh. It wasn't uncommon for her to listen to news about the kaijus lurking within the country, in fact, it has everyone accustomed to it by now. The threat it poses may be great, but the people are always assured that the defense force is capable of protecting them from these creatures.

The defense force...

Under the bright moonlight, the figure leaned her head on her hand as she watched the stunning city lights of the city on top of a 50-storey building. She sat on the edge of the rooftop, her legs crossed on top of one another as it dangled from the edge. One push and she was sure to fall to her death, but despite of such danger, the figure remains calm and composed as if there was no danger at all. 

As her platinum hair flew in the soft breeze, she tucked a strand behind her ear. Daybreak was going to come soon and yet here she was blankly staring at nothing. Sleep decided to not visit her tonight which was a very common occurrence for the female but for some reason, tonight felt a bit more different. The tingling sensation in her body and in her mind wouldn't let her sleep. It wasn't her usual thoughts that were keeping her awake, no.

It was something else. There was something telling her that something monumental will occur in this very night and she must not miss it. 

And maybe, that something has something to do with the sudden alarms blaring from every side of Yokohama.

"Alert, Kaiju has appeared, please evacuate immediately and accordingly. Take all necessary precautions-"

The figure stood from her sitting position and opened her phone before tucking it away once more upon seeing what she needed. She pulled down her respirator mask before pushing a few buttons on her earpiece until she heard a certain voice.

"The Kaiju was seen fleeing from the Yokohama South General Hospital and is now heading to an evacuated area."

That was all she needed to hear before letting herself fall from the edge of the building she once sat on.

The figure expertly and gracefully moved from one building to another, running on rooftops and jumping on ledge after ledge. Her movements were quick and fluid, graceful but controlled. She caught sight of two large vehicles that she recognized as from the Defense Force, going to the same direction she was. 

However, her movements came to a halt despite the hospital already being a few blocks from where she was. Another tingling sensation ran through her body that was enough to cause her feet to stop on top of another ledge.
