Amelia pov

I found myself surrounded by eerie darkness of the forest, the moonlight barely piercing through the thick canopy of trees in the forest. Fear gripped my heart as I scanned the shadowy landscape, my senses on high alert. Suddenly, a figure emerged from the darkness, a man cloaked in mystery, holding a gleaming dagger in his hand. His face hidden with the mask, yet I could feel his intense gaze fixated on me.

My terror escalated as I instinctively began to retreat, step by step, breathe breathe breathe, I start stepping backward reminding myself to breathe.

The man advancing steadily towards me with each menacing stride. Panic surged through me, urging me to run, and so I fled, the sound of his footsteps echoing ominously behind me like a haunting melody.

Desperation lent wings to my feet as I raced through the darkened forest, the masked man in relentless pursuit. His presence felt suffocating, his intentions unknown but undoubtedly sinister. With a jolt of horror, I stumbled and fell, the forest floor unforgiving beneath me.

As he closed in on me, his figure looming closer and closer, the nightmare reached its crescendo. Just as his hand reached out to grasp me, I jolted awake, gasping for breath, my heart pounding in my chest. The relief of awakening from that harrowing dream washed over me, yet the lingering dread clung to my skin like a shroud of darkness.

"Another nightmare," I told myself, looking around I found myself in a set, then it hits me, I was at a shoot and fell asleep during break. "These horrific nightmares will be the end of me". I said. Seeing those terrible things as soon as I close my eyes had become the part of my life now, I don't know when I had good amount sleep, without there being a masked man chasing me, and scaring the Shit out of me. "Amelia!... The director is calling you".

I look at the incoming voice, and saw my best friend Karlie standing with a frown on her face, I stood up and went towards her. "What happened Karl?". I asked. "They are calling you go... We need to hurry". She said her chocolate brown eyes filled with irritation because of continuous nagging of the director. "Okay, don't worry, it'll only take 15 minutes". I reassured her and went towards the set, waiting for the director's signal to start shooting.

I am a model, I was always attracted to glamour, beauty, and fortunately my looks did me a favor to help me became one of the biggest model of the country. Right now, I am shooting for a perfume brand which offers me dollars. I love the idea of luxury, and being a model comes with a lot luxurious stuff.

Karlie pov

Camera flashing here and there as Amelia stood in the center while others try to capture her every moment. I don't like to be here, especially in front of cameras, but since my other friends Hannah and Sarah were busy they insisted me to pick up Amelia from her shoot and come to Hannah's house.

While Amelia was posing for the camera, I try to focus on the book in front of me that must weight more than 1 kg, I am a doctor, yes a MBBS doctor, right now, I'm doing my residency. I was smart enough to skip a year in medical college, and another one in residency due to my knowledge in medical I was awarded with a scholarship, and the college told me that I don't need to waste my time on first year and rather jumped into residency year 2. So at the age of 22 I was basically a 2nd year resident, earning more than a 25-year doctor could, and trust me I have no problem with it.

Amelia's pov

"how was the shoot?". Karlie asked me, "Great like always". I replied. "Really, the director was nasty, he was looking at you like he'll eat you". She replied with a disgusted face, "Forget it I'm used to it". I replied normally, being in the fashion industry these things came as a curse, people will look at you, judge you, make nasty remarks about you, but I don't care because I was, and I am more successful than they are.
