And so, we come to the story.

The wolf council's greed was the reason why the 20 years old Trueblood, Jeon Jungkook, was at this moment being forced to reject his true mate, 19-year-old Omega Kim Taehyung, and mark the Alpha female chosen by the council, 21-year-old Kim Jennie, Taehyung's sister. According to the council, an Omega was NOT good enough to become Luna of the strongest pack and only an Alpha will be enough.

Jungkook knew Tae was his mate when the younger turned 18 and the Trueblood was 19. He was ecstatic! Tae was also in 7th heaven, knowing this wonderful person was his destined mate. They became extremely close, love blossoming between them. They knew they had to wait till Tae turned 21, but it was ok, 3 years will pass in a flash. They shared kisses and cuddles, dreams of the future. But the council turned their future into a nightmare.

As consensual marking and mating only happened after both wolves reached maturity at 21, (even if they realised they were mates earlier) at the first full moon after the youngest mate's birthday, this forced marking however was pushed forward by the council, claiming Jungkook had to take over from his father, who was injured quite badly a while back in a fight with rogues. Of course, their motivation was not what they told the pack. Their hidden agenda was 1. The Trueblood will be under their command as he was not yet 21, 2. They had his true mate's life in their hands to control him, as well as the fate of his father and mother, 3. The Crystal Snow Pack was very strong, which will basically be their private army to accomplish their ultimate goal and 4. The ultimate goal? You have to wait a bit for that, I can't spill all the secrets right at the beginning.

Jungkook has tried everything to stop this, but even his father, the current Alpha of the Crystal Snow Pack, could not fight the werewolf council. Jungkook was not considered an adult yet and had to bow to the council. The fact that they threatened to harm his Omega made things worse. He told them straight up, if they force him, they will regret the day they were born. His Trueblood will not mate with any other wolf than his fated mate. That if they continued with this, his wolf would take over. But they didn't believe him, and until he was officially an adult, his wolf could do nothing, only an adult wolf could stand up against others, a juvenile, even if he was a Trueblood, had no chance.

Taehyung and Jenni's parents did not care about the pain their Omega son will go through if his True mate marks another, all they saw was the prestige they will get by having their Alpha daughter mated to the Trueblood and become the Luna of the most powerful pack, the confidants of the council. The elder Kim was crawled so far up the council's collective butt that only his feet showed. Was there even more to it?

Taehyung was standing in front of the council, tears falling in anguish, being forced to watch his mate mark his sister, who just smirked at him. It was supposed to be him, not her. She has been obsessed with Jungkook for a long time and jealous when she found out her Omega brother was the True mate of the Trueblood. She complained non-stop to their parents, who took her side in this. Taehyung and Jungkook found out that they had approached the council to make this happen. Mr Kim had no problem accommodating his daughter to carry favour with the council. He had high hopes of becoming a member soon, well that is what the council promised him after the marking and mating of Jungkook with Jenni.

Taehyung was beyond beautiful and admired by all for his soft heart and personality. He was friends with anyone, no matter a witch, a vampire or a wolf. He had many friends. He was also very smart, actually skipped grades and overshadowed his shallow sister all the time. And she hated him for it. This was her revenge, she would get the mate that was Taehyung's, become the Luna of the pack which she thinks will give her power and there was nothing he could do about it.

"Alpha Jungkook, this is the will of the council, and you will obey!" The leader, elder Daewon shouted. Jungkook has been refusing this whole time, wanting his true mate. "If you don't listen, I will have you watch another Alpha mark and mate your precious Omega right in front of you! Then kill him. Do not test me boy! We already compromised by letting this useless Omega's live, don't push us!" The fear and fury in Jungkook were overwhelming, he knew that he could not fight his way out. The pack were fed lies and believed the council's story that his father could not be Alpha anymore because of his injuries. And with JK still not at his strongest, he would not win this fight. The thought of what can happen to his love made him sick to his stomach and prevented him from just taking a chance and attacking.
