If you don't basically their father was abusive, there mom turned into a demon, ended up killing All her other kids but gen and sane, sane tried to protect his sibs by killing his mother, gen accuses sane of murdering their mother bc he didn't understand at the time
Anyways, what if Genya's power to turn into a demon was generational.
What if his mother turning into a demon was just her protecting her kids by instinctively eating the demon and turning into one then losing control. So when she was killed she would have turned back in a couple hours.
It's so sad to think that she could have been alive. If this theory was true
