Its a calm day in the Hotlands, surprisingly. Alphys is peacefully working on an experiment in her lab until... "HELLOOOOO ALPHYS!!"
Alphys quickly looks over to the front door of her lab and sees.. Mettaton? "M-mettaton what are you doing here??" Alphys asks, still shooken up by the loud bang of Mettaton busing down the lab door. "OHH NOTHING, DARLING. I JUST WANTED TO SEE WHAT YOU WERE UP TO!"
"I-I was just working on an experiment.." Alphys says. "OH OK.. WELL I ALSO WANTED TO ASK YOU SOMETHING." Mettaton says with a big stupid smile on his face. "W-what did you wanna ask?" "I ALSO WANT TO SAY SORRY FOR WHAT IM ABOUT TO DO. BUT THE PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW, DARLING!!" Mettaton exclaims. Alphys is extremely nervous for what is about to come. "W-What??" A camera crew, lighting crew, and makeup crew bust into the lab. And Suddenly.. a long row of seats appears in the lab, WITH BASICALLY EVERYONE IN THE UNDERGROUND SITTING THERE!! The cameras start filming.. LIVE!!!
"HELLO BEAUTIES AND GENTLEBEAUTIES!! WELCOME TO MY MTTTV NEWS SEGMENT!! AND TODAY I AM HERE WITH A SPECIAL GUEST.. THE BEST SCIENTIST IN THE UNDERGROUND, THE LIZARD WHO HAS A CRUSH ON A FISH, THE ONE, THE ONLY.. ALPHYS!!" The audience cheers as Alphys starts blushing instantly from embarrassment. Alphys thinks to herself, "wait, what did he say about me liking a fish??... OH NO."
"YOU ALL MIGHT BE WONDERING.. WHY AM I INTERVIEWING THIS SOCIALLY AWKWARD LIZARD TODAY??" The audience laughs, Mettaton would mouth "sorry" to Alphys. "WELL, I KNOW YOU ALL HAVE BEEN DYING TO KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT A SPECIFIC RUMORS GOING AROUND HER.. SO IM HERE TO END THE SUSPENSE AND TELL YOU ALL THE REAL ANSWER!!" The audience cheers.
Alphys would become increasingly more nervous, but also angry. She knew what Mettaton was about to do.. she was NOT happy about it. "SO ALPHYS, DARLING... THE MONSTERS OF THE UNDERGROUND ARE DYING TO KNOW!! DO YOU HAVE A CRUSH ON UNDYNE??" There is a mix of gasps and ooos in the audience. "U-Uhh.." Alphys was feeling increasingly more nervous and angry. "DONT BE SHY DARLING!!"
"Uhh.. i-i uh.. do..?" Alphys REALLY didnt want to answer, but she knew Mettaton would keep bothering her until she answered. The audience filled with Awwws and Ooos. "WELL THERE WE HAVE IT!! THANK YOU FOR JOINING ME ON MTTTV NEWS AND HAVE A GOOD REST OF YOU DAY, MONSTERS OF THE UNDERGROUND!! BYEEEE!!" The filming crew, lighting crew, makeup crew, and the big crowd of people left.
"SORRY ALPHYS. THE PEOPLE HAD TO KNOW. IM ONLY DOING MY JOB. PLUS, IT WAS REALLY OBVIOUS ANYWAY. BUT I KNOW YOU ARE PROBABLY ANGRY, SO IM INVITING YOU TO BE A GUEST ON MY LIVE SHOW TOMORROW!! ISNT THAT EXCITING?!"
Alphys is filled with rage and humiliation. She wanted to embrass Mettaton back.. and she knew exactly how.
"Its okay, Mettaton! I understand. And im not mad at all! Im so excited!" Alphys said, so excited to get her revenge. "IM SO GLAD YOU UNDERSTAND, DARLING. SORRY AGAIN. BYEEE!!" Mettaton left the lab.
