(Y/N)'s POV
Luffy was persuading Vivi to have a lunch break. The princess said that we can eat in the next rocks we can stop by.
Luffy wants to play rock, paper, scissors and he said that whoever wins will carry all the belongings. We played and he won. Lol, he was so glad that he won, he didn't realized what he said.
He's now complaining at the back.
"Rocks spotted a small ways ahead!" Usopp informed.
"For reals?! Break time! Food!" Luffy. He then dashed towards where Usopp was facing when he saw the rocks.
"He was quick." I commented.
Not long later...
"Bad news!" Luffy shouted.
"Huh? He's coming back?" Usopp.
"There's lots of hurt birds that can't move! Chopper!" Luffy.
After Chopper heard that someone needs help, he immediately rose from laying down in the small sled and rushed towards Luffy.
"Birds?! Wait, Luffy-san! Don't tell me these birds are—-!" Vivi.
"Eh?" Luffy.

"All our stuff is gone!" Zoro.
"We've been had..." Nami.
"It's the truth! There really were dying birds here!"
"I'm sorry. I should've mentioned it earlier. Warusagi birds are desert bandits that trick travelers and steal their belongings." Vivi.
"What?!" Luffy.
"Birds playing dead? That's dishonest!" Usopp.
"Yes, that's how they are." Vivi.
"They tricked me?!" Luffy.
"Luffy! Is that all you can say for yourself?! There were three days of provisions in there! And you just had to let some damn birds steal everyone's stuff smack in the middle of this desert?! How are we supposed to cross the desert without food or water now?!" Sanji angrily said.
I understand the frustration that Sanji is feeling right now. But I also understand that Luffy didn't know the birds are bandits and he just mean well by wanting to help them.
"It's not my fault. They tricked me." Luffy.
"Is your brain less than a bird's?!" Sanji.
"Say what?!" Luffy.
"Stop it, you two!" Zoro.
"There's no use. At times like this, it's best to let them have it out." Ace said.
"Yeah, huh? Let's take a short break. The heat is what has them fuming. I'm sure we'll manage food-wise. It's nothing that'll kill us. Let's just put it out of our minds." Zoro.
The birds from a short distance are teasing us because they stole our belongings. Luffy chased them down.

"What's taking Luffy so long?!" Usopp.
"Yeah. Do you think he got lost?" Chopper.
"He's not Zoro." I whispered to him and we chuckled.
"He has a horrible sense of direction but always has to run off!" Nami.
"And there's so many desert dangers he doesn't know about..." Vivi.
"Y'know, isn't he hungry from not eating anything?" Sanji.
"He's such a lost cause." Zoro.
"You can say that again." Sanji.
