I woke up to the sound my blaring alarm clock at seven forty-five. I quickly got ready for school and rushed out of the door to greet Adam. "In a rush?" Adam joked. "Shut up." I laughed as I put my seat belt on. Adam kissed me on the cheek and started on the way to school. When we got there, our friends were already waiting for us. When we got out of the car, we could hear Brigette and Walker arguing. "I saw you, Walker! I watched you flirt with that bitch. Don't sit here and fucking lie to me like I am stupid!" Brigette yelled loudly. "Brige, I'm not doing anything with that girl. We were just fucking talking. You're being insane." Walker calmly spoke. "Insane?! You know what, fuck you! If you think I'm so fucking insane, then how about you go waste your time with Becca Samson since you like talking to her so much!" Brigette yelled before storming off. "Brigette, wait!" Walker pleaded before following her. "What was that all about?" Adam asked. "They've been arguing like that since last night. We went out and Becca started talking to Walker and I guess since he didn't kick her in the face, she thinks he wants to do something with her." Keys explained. "They always argue. I don't understand how they can stand being together." I said. "It started after Lonnie stopped hanging out with us. After that, Brigette has been worried that Walker has been cheating on her." Belize said with an annoyed expression. "I don't see-" My sentence was cut off by the sound of loud speakers blaring towards the parking lot. When I turned around, I saw a black car speed into the spot next to us. The car then shut off and a girl stepped out of it. It was the girl from yesterday. "Woah, who is that?" Keys said. "I have no clue." Belize replied. "I think her name is Anastasia. Principal Oakly introduced her yesterday. She's in my English class." I stated. "Cool car." Adam said to her as she walked by. "Thanks. You too, dude." she said with a slight smile. I couldn't help but watch as she confidently walked away without a care in the world. My thoughts were again interrupted by the sound of the first  morning bell. "That's our cue. See you bitches later." Belize said as she and Keys walked to their first period. Adam gave me a kiss goodbye and we went our separate ways.

I walked into my English class and right there sat Anastasia in the seat behind me. I quickly looked down and made my way to my seat. Shortly after, Ms. Owens began her lesson. As we took notes on Hamlet I felt a tap on my shoulder from no other than Anastasia. "Yes?" I asked. "I don't have a copy of this book. Do you think I could copy your notes today until I can get one?" She asked. I handed her my book and she looked at me with a puzzled expression. "I have another copy at home. You can use this one to read with. That way it's easier than copying two pages of notes." I said. "Oh, thanks. What's your name?" she asked. "Ellie." I replied with a smile. "Cool. I'm Anastasia as you probably know from that ridiculous introduction from Oakly yesterday. You can called me Ana though." She smiled. "Nice to meet you Ana." I smiled back as I continued the notes. After class, Ana stopped me. "Hey, I have history with Mr. Bextar next and I kinda forgot how to get there, do you think you could tell me where that is?" Ana asked sheepishly. "Yeah, no problem! My next class is actually that way so I can walk with you if you'd like." I suggested. "Yeah! That's cool." Ana smiled. I gave her a small grin and we started down the hallways. "Where are you from?" I asked. "Indiana." She answered. "Why'd you move here to Georgia?" I asked. "Parents got divorced and I moved here with my mom for a 'fresh start'." Ana stated. "That really sucks, I'm sorry." I said comfortingly. "Don't worry about it. My dad is a dick anyways." Ana replied.

"Here's Mr. Bextar's room. Do you have anymore questions?" I asked. "Nope! I might later, though." Ana said. "I can give you my number if you'd like." I replied. "Really? That would be really helpful, thank you." She smiled. She handed me her phone and put in my number right before the bell began to ring. "Text me anytime you need it." I reminded her as I walked into my history class. I take my seat next to Brigette and I can already tell that she is still kind of pissed off. "You okay, Brige?" I asked. "Yep. Just peachy." Brigette said in a sarcastic tone. "You sure? Things seemed really heated between you and Walker this morning." I asked. "Can't you just mind your fucking business? I told you everything is fine. Stop asking so many questions. You're worse than fucking Belize." Brigette snapped. "I was just asking. No need to bite my head off." I replied. I turned my attention to the lesson and tried to ignore Brigette's obvious bad mood. That ultimately failed since the energy she gave off seemed to spread around the room. No one talked to her in fear that they would also get chewed out by Brigette.
