ch 14 : bugs

A few weeks later, their garden was flourishing with the new magical vegetables. Yuna decided it was time to share their bounty with  Shu and Rosa.

"Hey, Winston, I think it's time to share some of our magical vegetables with Shu and Rosa" Yuna suggested.

"Sure" Winston agreed.

They packed baskets with their best produce and set out to visit Shu and Rosa. When they arrived at Shu's home, Shu welcomed them warmly.

"Yuna, Winston, what brings you here?" Shu asked, smiling.

"We brought some vegetables from our garden. We'd love for you to try them," Yuna said, handing him a basket.

Shu's eyes lit up. " This is amazing! Thank you!"

Next, they headed to Rosa's place. Rosa was equally surprised and delighted by the gift.

"Yuna, these look incredible. Thank you so much," Rosa said, examining the vegetables.

Over the next few days, Yuna and Rosa started spending more time together. Yuna taught Rosa and Shu how to cook with the vegetables since both of them are carnivores, and they shared stories about their lives. Yuna found Rosa to be kind and thoughtful once they got to know each other.

Home Sweet Home (D)

Objective: Go to the garden and protect your crops.

Instructions:
- Kill all the bugs that will harm your crops

Duration: 3 hours
Rewards: 🔐
Penalty: Pests will start breeding in your garden‼️

"Bugs?" She shuddered. One thing to know about Yuna is that she is afraid of bugs.

"I don't want to!!" She cried helplessly.

"Winston, why are you going out at a time like this?" she cried.

"You're not crying for real," Pip suddenly said, feeling confused as it saw no tears on its master's face.

"Shut up, Pip! This is all your fault! I hate bugs, you know!" Yuna said angrily.

"You must complete your mission. If you don't move now, you will get a penalty," Pip said.

Hearing Pip's voice made Yuna more upset about doing the mission. She really hated those insects, especially the ones that could fly, like cockroaches or grasshoppers.

She still remembered when she was a child, a big green grasshopper landed on her face. Its legs crawled on her face, making her scream out loud. She shuddered just thinking about that moment.

"Well, if I don't do it, they will soon breed in my garden!" she said, trying to be positive.

"Okay, let's do it."

In the garden, Yuna stood still in front of her spring onion bed.

She saw a caterpillar munching on the leaves.

"AHHHH!! WORMS!!!!" She screamed and ran away from the beds.

"It's a caterpillar, Yuna, not a worm," Pip said.

"DON'T CARE! THEY STILL LOOK THE SAME!" Her body shivered in fright.

"You can kill them using the insect spray behind you" Pip answered.

"Ugh, but still," Yuna whined but moved her body to get the spray. She was still reluctant to do the mission, but she couldn't bear to meet those insects ever again inside her garden.

Armed with the insect spray, Yuna took a deep breath and stepped back into the garden. She approached the spring onion bed cautiously, her eyes scanning for any more bugs.

"There's another one," she whispered to herself, spotting a beetle on one of the leaves. With a trembling hand, she sprayed it, watching as it fell off the plant.

"This is so gross," she muttered, but continued moving through the garden, spraying any insect she saw. Grasshoppers, beetles, and caterpillars fell to her determined efforts.

Halfway through the mission, Yuna started to feel more confident. She realized that her fear was diminishing as she faced each bug head-on. By the end of the three hours, she had rid her garden of the pests and felt a sense of accomplishment.

"Mission complete," Pip announced. "You've done well, Yuna."

"Thank you, Pip. I can't believe I actually did it," Yuna said, a proud smile on her face.

When Winston returned home, he found Yuna in high spirits. She greeted him with a hug and told him about her day.

"Wow, Yuna, you faced your fear and protected our garden. I'm proud of you," Winston said, giving her a kiss.
