Emma finds Lily at a café and decides to get to the bottom of things.
Emma: (firmly) Lily, I need to know the truth. Have you been trying to come between me and Jake?
Lily: (taken aback) What? Why would you think that?
Emma: (determined) Because I can't shake the feeling that you're trying to sabotage our relationship.
Lily hesitated, then broke down, confessing her feelings for Jake and her jealousy of Emma. Emma listened, understanding the pain of unrequited love.
Emma: (softly) I get it, Lily. But Jake and I... we have something special. Trying to break us apart isn't going to change anything.
Lily apologized, and Emma forgave her, feeling a weight lift off her shoulders.
