One late nigh in the midst of winter's harshest season: Stood a young, but lonely white-haired Winter Spirit sat up in a tall oak tree, blue eyes shining with sever different emotions flashing across his boyish features as he stared morosely up at the the full moon above him. His eyes glinted a brilliant silvery-blueish color in the moonlight, and a sigh passed over his his lips resumed his earlier position of staring up at the night sky. This young boy was known as the one and only Jack Frost, the spirit of winter, and a fellow Guardian of Childhood. Even with those tittles bestowed on him: What was at this moment, unknown to him future guardian of fun. He had been alone for 100 years, with no believers, worse as a winter spirit the other season spirits did not like him, and had recently attacked him for being a winter spirit, thus as he looked up into the night sky and saw a shooting star he made a heartfelt wish.
"I wish I was not Jack Frost," he said. "That I was someone else, anyone else, so I could be loved, to have a someone care about me."
Now the wishing spirit on that shooting star heard the wish, and looking at him knew she needed to help, but she also knew there was a problem with that. Normally, that would prevent the wish being granted, and thus Jack would remain alone for another 200 years, but due to a mix up with the star routes meaning she had took the route normally done by her sister who was a generalized wish granter, while she specialized in transformation wishes thus giving her a way out. Though she would need his permission.
"Hello Jack Frost." Jack heard in his mind, much to his suprise. "I am a spirit of wishes connected to the shooting star younwished upon, I specialize in transformation wishes, so I can help you. However as a spirit of winter you are needed to bring winter. So instead of a permanent change, I can give you the abilityntomswitch between the two forms, you can do your job as spirit of winter as Jack, then change to your new form in your free time. Is that acceptable to you?"
"Yes!" Jack said glad for any reprieve."Very well, there are two forms I can give you." The spirit of wishes said. "I'll let you decide which. The first is a random male spirit. You would not be a winter spirit, and could thus find a spirit to start a family with, but would still need to get others to believe in you. Or if you are accepting a more drastic change, I could change you into one of the Tooth Fairies helper fairies. This would give you a large family, and anyone that believes in the Tooth Fairy will believe in you as well, however you would be a small fairy, have more responsibilities thus less time for fun, and the gender change would affect both forms. Which would you prefer?"
"The second," Jack said in response immediately, desperate for believers, and a family to the point he would welcome even more drastic changes to get them as soon as possible.
"Very well, then when you wake up it will be done." The spirit said as Jack started to glow, then passing out from the shock of the change, before disappearing and reappearing at one of Tooth's female helper fairies. Though she was somebody she just thought she was a new helper fairy and set her up in her own room to awaken.
