Emily's pov

Today is auditions for A troupe there are so many people auditioning most of which were A troupe members last year

There are 2 B troupe members auditioning Noah and richelle Riley was doing her solo and she's amazing but she hates me

I don't understand why when she finished it was James turn but this gorgeous blonde walked in

"Is this A troupe auditions " she asked before I could say something miss Kate said "Michelle im glad u could make it come to my office "

I don't know who this girl thinks she is "my god " I don't know why Riley's screaming I should go look

"She's miss national soloist guys " Riley says fangirling all over this beautiful blonde uh I hope she doesn't come for my spot as captain

I walk over to miss Kate's office to see Michelle and introduce myself "hi im Emily " I say as I shake her hand I felt sparks fly "im Michelle but you probably already knew that " she says giggling

We lock eyes "yh its nice to meet you im sure your a great dancer "." Actually Emily I wanted to talk to u since u were dance captain last year I wanted to inform u that we are letting Michelle try out for A troupe "I was shocked

But I hope she made it on to A troupe so I could see her everyday" well good luck not that u need it "I said ugh why am I being so nice usually im mean to everyone but with Michelle im so nice.

"Well good luck to u to not that u need it either " Michelle said I walked back out "alright guys change of plan Emily's up next then Michelle then James "

Everyone looked shocked and the terrible two Stephanie and tiffanny looked ready to kill.

I threw in all these moves I've never done before just to impress Michelle I hope she likes them

Only Michelle miss Kate and Chris clapped once I was done

Michelle's pov
Emily's dance was amazing I did lots of jumping and dancing and finished with my signature hair flip everyone clapped but Emily was the loudest

She was so nice I felt bad for her when none of the others clapped for her. James finished his dance then miss Kate(my mom) said the list for A troupe would be shortly so I decided to see what Emily was up to

Mom said there was a juice bar somewhere "hey em " "em"? " yh its a nickname anyways I was wondering if u wanted to get a drink.I heard there's a juice bar somewhere but I'm not quite sure were "I said smiling softly

" you don't want to get a juice with that evil bitch "someone shouted at first I thought they meant me but then James said " yh Michelle come with us "

"Im good thanks " I said grabbing Emily's hand "come on em let's go " I said softly  "why don't u listen to my sister and her boyfriend " she said shaking

"Why would they say that about u " I asked gently "because I didn't approve of James and Riley being together because he's older and I just wanted to protect her so they got everyone to turn on me and think I was some kind of  evil  Monster " she started to cry and ears rolled down her face

"Oh em you're not a monster " I hugged her tight and she cried on my shoulder
"The list is up " west shouted "hey em u ready to go see " "yh  we walked to studio A to see the list outside miss Kate's office everyone was crowded around it and Tiffany started reading out the list

Miss Kate walked out and said " sorry to those of u that didn't make it there's always next year " then she announced the dance captain "the dance captain is drumroll please.............. Michelle "

I was shocked I don't want to take Emily's place "congrats Michelle " Emily said giving me a big hug everyone looked at Emily weird so I decided to stand up for her "what never seen to friends hugging " I said

They all turned around but then Riley commented "why would u be friends with that bitch " "shes kind and she caring unlike u and she's your sister why would u say something like that about her "I replied

" I wish she wasn't my sister "Riley shouted

Emily's pov
Those words hurt but luckily miss Kate came and told everyone to pack up and leave for the day I was finishing packing up and I just sat on the bench and started crying

Michelle came over to me and said " what's wrong em " "I just don't know why she is so mean to me I just want the best for her and why haven't u left yet" I said

"Well I was waiting for my mom miss Kate " I was surprised I didn't know miss Kate was Michelle's mom but then again I don't know much about her because we just met

"Why haven't u left "Michelle asked " I don't wanna go home yet I'm going to wait till Riley goes out with James so I can go home "I said

" well I was thinking we could be co- captains "Michelle shyly suggested " of course we can "I said jumping up and down " I guess I'll see u later mich"
"Of course em "  "wait " "yh what's up " I said softly "ummm can I have your number " Michelle asked

"Of course Michelle here " I have her my number and left I was so happy we were friends I never had a true friend before and the way she stood up for me was amazing she was so confident and didn't care if anyone hated her for doing it

She just cared about helping me and standing up from me she's amazing I spent so much time fantasizing about Michelle I didn't see the lampost in front of me I heard lots of laughter
