The door to his room was slammed to the side.

"Hyun—"

"GAH!"

Yeseo ducked as the curling iron was hurled across the room, just barely missing her and hitting the doorframe.

"Are you trying to kill me?!" she protested.

"I could say the same about you!" Taehyun fired back, holding his chest with his hand.

The poor guy was busy perming up his hair a bit, wanting to doll up a tad as he was going out with his sister and Chaehyun tonight.

Where?

Obviously to see the Barbie movie. That, and Oppenheimer, has been the buzz of town, also known as the hallways of their school, for weeks now.

Yeseo practically begged their parents to get them tickets to see the nearest screening, even if it was late at night, and she was given permission.

"As long as your brother tags along," they had said.

Luckily, that would not be an issue.

Taehyun would never admit this out loud to anyone else, and he already has the perfect blackmail on him just in case Yeseo (and of course Yeonjun) one day decides to rat him out for it, but he actually really loves Barbie movies, having watched them with Yeseo when they were kids and naturally falling in love with the pink magic of it.

After all, who doesn't appreciate a little slice of life done in an easy, down to earth way? And he couldn't deny: Ken was one fine lad.

So here he was, dressed in a pink dress shirt paired with high waisted jeans that hugged his hips snuggly, and was fluffing up his hair with a curling iron.

Until he was practically gasping for air as his pulse was raised from the shock his sister gave him by barging into his room like that, nearly giving him a heart attack.

Yeseo meanwhile scanned him up and down, a smile crossing her face.

"You look good!"

"Thanks. You don't look too shabby yourself."

"Why thank you, I have Mom's genes after all," she giggled.

The 15-year-old girl was adorned in a puffy lacy pink dress with frill shoulders, a belt was swung around her small waist, and opposite to her brother, she had tied her straight blonde hair back into a ponytail, adorned with a pink ribbon.

In short, she looked like a real Barbie doll herself.

"Is that why you dyed your hair blonde last week?" Taehyun asked, referring to her fit.

"Yup! But Chaehyun unnie said it'll fade within a week after this one!"

"Good, you know how Dad is about dyed hair."

"Eh, I bet he's jealous cuz he's turning gray with time."

Yeseo gasped when she finished the final word of her sentence.

"Time! Hyun we gotta go, the show starts in an hour!"

"Okay okay I'll hurry up, get your shoes!"

"Alright!"

The small girl skipped out of his room, clamoring down the stairs to get her shoes while already singing to a song from The Princess and the Pauper. Taehyun meanwhile just chuckled, picking the curling iron off the ground and placing it down, adjusting a few hot ironed curls.
