"Throughout the hustle of this busy world, destiny has its own story"
Sitting on the grass bed, far from the chaotic world and the toxicity, she was lost.
Lost within her thoughts, admiring the beauty of nature. Those flesh green majestic mountains held some power that they attracted many eyes to wait for some minutes and have a peek on them.
'Ohkay, this is enough for you today Siya let's move from this spot now', talking to herself she managed to lift her feet and started walking.
While she was exploring through, the cool breeze was giving her calmness which lightened up her soul with positivity. The clouds hid the sun beneath them while moving smoothly in the blue sky. All this happening was something, something new to her.
Her eyes were only fixed to the sky, when a flower on a tree caught her attention. The bright red hue and the folds of the petals attracted her so much that she chose to remove the distance between them. Not knowing what was going to happen soon after, she stood on her toes to pluck it. All her efforts went in vain when she realised the force pulling her down, she slipped.
Closing her eyes she was waiting for the pain since she was going to fall off from the cliff. But soon she realised an arm holding her waist and her one hand which was up in the air. She was back facing the person.
'Are you okay ?',she could feel the concern in this manly voice. Siya took herself back and the latter distanced himself a bit.
'Yes ! I'm fine', she was whole embarrassed for acting as a two year old which she was not so successful in hiding it behind her confident reply.'Oh but I have seen someone closing her eyes due to the stunt she played seconds ago'
'Yeah that was..a reflex u know' before letting him say something she continued 'By the way Mr. may I know, what u were actually doing here in this place?'
'I was adoring a beauty who was admiring the site in front of us minutes before, and currently I saved her from falling'
It took her some seconds to realise his words. And when she realised her feet couldn't stop from turning, even she didn't know why? She was going to see the person soon but the loud melodies ringing in her ears stopped her in the midway.
Yes she woke up from her dream.
Siya's POV :
I suddenly jerked from the voice of my phone alarm kept beside the bed. Soon my hand reached to the device to put it off. It was 5:30 in the morning. Looking at the ceiling I was interpreting what actually did I saw,' How can the dream be so real, I didn't even saw his face'. After a couple of minutes thinking, I dispersed from my bed and started with my morning chores. Today is the day when I'm going to meet that crackhead, it was hard for me when she left me when we were just seven. Her family settled in Dehradun when they were informed about her Dad's transfer.
Standing in front of the dressing table I could watch my reflection. I'm not the one having a perfect slim body. I have felt insecure about myself many a times, I'm not saying I hate this figure but today's reality is something which arises a bit overthinking within me. People nowadays fall for the beauty, sad but true. For me being beautiful is being true to yourself and to the people around you. It comes from within you, not the outer appearance. Even the darkest carbon hides the heart of a precious diamond. No matter how thin or chubby, fair or dark you are...Just be you !
Anyways a short kurti in a shade of maroon, having small prints with straight denim jeans is my choice for today. I quickly wore those tiny oxidised jhumkas gifted by my miss beautiful, my mumma. It's just me and my never-ending love for jhumkas.

'Oh wow this girl got up early today, am I dreaming Prakash ?', is what I heard entering the dining area. 'Mumma don't say so, as if I never woke up early before. Good morning Papa', I said with a bit annoyance in my voice. Prakash, my dad wished me while extending his arm towards me for a morning hug and I happily went towards his embrace. 'Ahm ahm is someone forgetting there's one more person standing here', said Vidhya my mumma. With this I walked upto my mother who was preparing for the breakfast and hugged her from back, 'Of course not mumma'.
With this I helped her by setting up the table and making sure I pay for the annoying reply moments ago.
'Where's that monkey, isn't he up? Who's going to drop me ?' was what came out of my mouth when I was unable to figure out that one person on the dining table.' He came late yesterday, you know how busy he is nowadays.' said dad before taking a bite from his spoon. 'Don't worry Siya first have your meal. I informed Aditya before only about u leaving today for Dehradun' , said mumma all determined to save her first child from my further tantrums.' Also don't you dare forget to take, all her favourite snacks and chocolates I brought for her'.
'Ahoy captain !'. Even if we are far apart but till now both our families share the same beautiful bond which we used to have 15 years back, a small talk was enough for us throughout these years. We are 23 now and still never met ! But today is the day, I can't wait to see my crackhead's reaction.
'Yaah yaahhhh, get up you 28 year old monkey. It's getting late, what if I miss my bus !', entering in his room I roared. I was going to take a Volvo bus from Delhi to Dehradun which would take me five hours to reach my destination.
'This little potato of mine would not let me sleep peacefully....Good morning Siya' was what left from his yawning mouth. I hit him from the pillow to make sure he walks to the washroom without wasting any other minutes of the only half an hour left with me to reach the bus station.

My parents embracing me said one by one,
'Enjoy the days Siya, call me when u reach there and also everyday you are going to call me. Don't trouble aunty and uncle there.'
'Siya I know it's just three days but if u feel something not going the way it should then do call us'.
Both of their concerns were equally necessary and genuine. This was the first time I was going without them. It isn't like I cannot live myself alone but I barely liked going alone. These are the golden days for me to stay by their side and enjoy these small moments. Maybe some years after I would be very busy working like my brother and couldn't give the time to them who were caring for us, from before we came to this world.
Sitting in the car I bid bye to them not knowing whether I would be able to make up to the station at the right time. All thanks goes to my very punctual brother, he is but sadly not today. 'Let's go, potato'.
And here the journey begins...
