"What happened Y/N ? You've been distressed for days now. At least tell us what's wrong with you," stella  asked gently, her voice laced with concern as she reached out to touch y/n's hand. y/n just avoided her gaze, feeling the weight of her emotions pressing down on her. She knew stella cared, but she also felt a barrier, a fear that her friend wouldn't understand even if she tried to explain.

"It's just mood swings, nothing much," y/n replied with a forced smile, trying to brush off the concern in stella's eyes. y/n  felt a mixture of relief  as Stella didn't press for more answers.

"Stella-"

She turned towards y/n, raising her eyebrow as a gesture for her to continue.

" what do you think about vampires? Are they real?"

"Ever since the presentation, you've been asking more about vampires. They're just fictional, after all"
Suddenly Y/n realised something..

"LAST WEEK --"

"Everyone. choose your own topics for presentation next week..i'll give you 10 minutes then you can tell me your topic alright."

The students started to brainstorm ideas for the topic. Some of them pulled out their mobile phones, scrolling and typing furiously as they searched for inspiration. After 10 minutes, the teacher began calling on the students one by one to note their topics. Each student stood up in turn, sharing their chosen subject as the teacher jotted it down. The room buzzed with anticipation and a hint of nervousness as everyone waited for their name to be called. Many students chose different topics, showcasing a wide range of interests and ideas. Some selected historical events, others focused on scientific discoveries, while a few chose contemporary issues. When it was y/n's turn, she stood up and announced her topic: "Vampires Are Real." The room fell silent for a moment as everyone turned to look at her, expressions of amusement and curiosity flickering across their faces. The teacher raised an eyebrow but wrote down her topic without comment.

Next day evening, Y/n met up with her three friends to discuss her latest discovery. "I've been researching vampires online," she began, her excitement evident. "There's this place on the outskirts of town where the locals claim they've seen vampires."

Her friends exchanged glances, their curiosity piqued. "Really?" one of them asked. "What did you find?"

"How about we all go there tonight and check it out for ourselves?" y/n suggested, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.

Lita and Nata shook their heads regretfully. "I'd love to, but I already have plans with my boyfriend," one said, and the other nodded in agreement.

y/n looked a bit disappointed but then turned to Stella, her remaining friend. "What about you, Stella?"

Stella grinned and nodded enthusiastically. "I'm in! This sounds like an adventure."

They had been traveling for two hours, the journey feeling longer as the sky gradually darkened. By the time they finally reached their destination, the last traces of twilight had vanished, and night had firmly settled in.

"it's already dark here Stella"
" y/n , It doesn't look like cemetery...It looks like a castle that has been abandoned"

" yeah that's why I'm more curious to know about this place"

They both were now standing at the frontyard of the castle.

As they approach the front yard of the abandoned castle, a sense of foreboding washes over them. The air is thick with an eerie stillness, and a chill wind rustles through the overgrown grass and weeds, sending shivers down their spine. Ancient, gnarled trees stand like silent sentinels near the entrance, their twisted branches heavy with the weight of years gone by. From these branches hang numerous bats, their small, dark bodies silhouetted against the darkening sky. They hang upside down, wrapped in their leathery wings, occasionally stirring and emitting soft, eerie chirps that pierce the silence.
