𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞 .

1864-Homecoming

Last night was rough it took me a while to process what I saw but I find it rather interesting, Stefan is already sucking up to the new girl and today will be amazing because Damon is coming home !
Out of everyone , he is my favorite , the one I relate to the most practically my best friend .
He has been fighting in the army for around a year and we haven't seen him since he left , I'm so exited I got up extra early and chose my favorite dress and called one of my maids in to help with my makeup , I styled my hair in tight curls before going downstairs to breakfast.

"Well,well,well if it isn't Eleanor , at breakfast, on time for once , and she made an effort , everyone this is a rare occasion, seriously Eleanor why the change? " My father says acting shocked . "Well father if u must know , Damon is coming home and I have missed him deeply" .I reply rolling my eyes.
Katherine, who I just realized was there the whole time was staring at me with a soft expression on her face , weird .

I've been stood outside for what feels like hours waiting for Damon to return , everyone was elsewhere but I refused to miss his homecoming , Stefan and Katherine behind the house , father and mother in the house .
There he is my best friend ,
"Ellie" he yells whilst running towards me ,
"Dammy" I smile as he picks me up and spins me around , "How I've missed you".
We walk inside catching up on anything and everything. He asks me about Katherine and if she had a suitor , to which I rolled my eyes and told him to get in line right behind Stefan and the rest of the unmarried men in this boring town , honestly what was so great about this one girl , yes I admit she is pretty but life is more than that .

Mother and father have taken Stefan and Damon out for a celebratory meal at the finest  restaurant in town , whilst I am stuck here alone
I am minding my own business when someone knocks at my door .
