(Celina POV)

I was currently checking through my deck before the exams today. If all goes well I should be well on my way out of this dorm. I can't wai-

THUD

Disturbed from my train of thought I shoot a glare over to my neighboring room. This is not too uncommon of an occurrence, but it's still annoying. Sighing I get up to check on Syrus who undoubtedly just got a faceful of Jaidens face. That kid has got to learn to take care of himself or he will be eaten alive. At their door I hear yelling, so I just walk in to get the headache this will give me out of the way.

Syrus: -starting to get why you were held back two years. Jaiden get out of bed, we're already late. I'll save you a seat. Hurry.

He runs past and I follow. Considering how much more athletic I am than Syrus I catch up pretty quickly.

Celina: Hey Si, What was that all about?

Syrus: He was trying to get me to sabotage Jaiden so we would have an easier test.

That would be the smart choice of action, but I don't want to start a useless argument.

Celina: Well if you learned anything today know that you're a better person than I am.

*Timeskip*

Syrus had fallen asleep and was mumbling, but Jaiden finally decided to show up with 45 minutes left on the clock

Jaiden: Didn't know this was an oral exam Syrus. How 'bout sleep instead of praying to Slifer all night?

Boss Blueberry: You two wanna keep it down. Some of us plan to pass this test.

Celina: For once I agree with the snobbish blueberry, and Jaiden you're getting talked to after class.

Prof. Banner: Oh Jaiden, why don't you come down here and get your exam?

Jaiden: Be there in a jiff.

*Timeskip brought to you by Yuri being flabbergasted at how easy the tests were*

Prof Banner: Alright class, now that the written exams are over. Please walk, not run, to get in line for today's new rare cards.

Rando: Their here?

Prof. Banner: Oh no.

Suddenly all chaos broke loose as everyone ran to get new cards, but I and Bastion woke up Syrus and Jaiden who were asleep.

Celina: You know I can handle the morons myself, and you can go get some cards.

Bastion: I don't need them.

Celina: Suit yourself.

SMACK!

I Smack Jaiden and Syrus over the head with the giant fan that I got as a present from my sister.

Syrus: Hey what was that for?

Celina: For falling asleep moron. Same with you Jaiden.

Syrus: Oh no! I flunked, didn't I? I'm a complete failure.

Celina: You have the practical to make up for it drama queen.

Syrus: Hey, where'd everyone go?

Bastion: The new rare cards arrived today, Everyone is at the card shop.

Syrus: What?! New cards?! Hey, how come no one told us?

Bastion: Because everyone wants the best cards for themselves, to use in the upcoming field test.

Syrus: Sp what aren't you getting some?

Bastion: Please, one errant card and my deck's delicate balance would be completely thrown off.

Syrus: Well mine wouldn't.

Jaiden: Then lets go, there's nothing like the smell of new cards in the morning. Thanks for the tip Bastion

*Timeskip brought to you by Cat Celina sleeping while Jaiden and Syrus duel*

Jaiden: Come on Si, lets make tracks. *Comes to a stop* What?

Syrus: Where is everyone?

Celina: Looks like they're out, too bad.

Jaiden: Excuse me, counter girl?

Counter Girl: Hmm?

Jaiden: You still have some cards left right?

Counter Girl: Of course we have some left, just regular packs though. *Pushes forward a single pack* Here you go.

Jaiden/Syrus: We said some not one.

Syrus: I'm done for. I slept through my written test, now I'm gonna flunk my duel test cuz I can't upgrade my deck.

Celina: Then take the pack Si *Whispers to herself* Before I punch you for whining too much.

Jaiden: *Visibly Pained* It's cool.

Syrus: But what about you? You slept through the written test to an-

Celina: SYRUS! Jaiden has shown that he is able to duel fine with what he has now. I've yet to see you duel, so take the cards because I'm sure you need them more.

Old Lady: Yoo-Hoo, Auto Club.

Jaiden: Oh hey, You work here too?

Old Lady: Oh no, I don't work here I own here, cool huh?

Jaiden: No that's not cool, that's totally sweet

Celina: Jaiden, explain.

Jaiden: I think it was the carburetor.

Old Lady: Here I have something for you, just call it a thank you for helping me.

*Timeskip brought by plant Yuri Chilling until he's finally plot-relevant*

Celina: I'm dueling a Grape.

Yuri: Hey I don't make the rules, I follow them, and The Director wants me to be your opponent.

Celina: Why can't that man leave my school life alone, first the dorms and now this?

Yuri: Well ready to lose?

Celina: Like hell.

Celina/Yuri: DUEL

(Quick Note: The reason for no duel is explained in my Announcement )

Yuri: Now Starving Venom Fusion Dragon, attack her Cat Dancer.

Celina LPs: 300-400=0000

Yuri Wins

Celina: I-I lost.

I look to my side and I see that Jaiden beat his Blueberry opponent. No way...no way I'm worse than that dork. That's impossible. I refuse to accept it. I'll get better. Yeah, that's it. I'll get better, better than anyone and nothing is going to st-

Yuri: You dueled well. You're the first to last that long against my plants, and I think I actually learned something. What do you say to us being training partners?

Celina: ...Sure, but don't expect your win rate to stay for long then.

We then shake hands as I hear the professor say something then everyone claps for whatever it was.

*Timeskip to at night*

I'm in my room emailing Yuri about our training sessions when I hear a commotion from the usual culprits.

Jaiden: Sure Ra Yellow is nice and all with their clean sheets, lack of cockroaches, and their spiffy blazers, but it's just not the same without you and Celina, Si.

Syrus then proceeds to go cry into Jaidens jacket as I wack Jaiden over the head with my fan.

Celina: So you're telling me you gave up a promotion for friendship? Jaiden you know you make it very hard to not strangle you to death.
