The Potter manor was filled with giggles as the Potter twins talked about their incoming school year at the same place where most of their family had met and had amazing adventures.
Adeline Potter grimaced at the thought of having to be away for most of the year. "Ade, aren't you excited?" Harry grinned at his twin. "We're going to the same school where Dad met Mom, and Uncle Remus & Sirius!"
Adeline frowned. "Aren't you worried? About being sorted into something other than Gryffindor?" Harry's grin quickly fell as worry clouded his eyes. "No, why would I when the Potters before us have been Gryffindor?"
Adeline started pacing, making Harry's head spin as he watched his twin go from one side of the room to the other. "Uncle Sirius was born in the house of black, which was known for having a legacy of being Slytherin, but Uncle Sirius broke that legacy once he was sorted into Gryffindor!" Adeline exclaimed as she started scratching up and down her arms. "We all know that he wasn't treated kindly after his sorting." Adeline's arms turned red as the scratches covered her pale skin, and Harry began to worry. If she continued, she would surely make herself bleed.
Harry walked over to his twin, made her stop her obsessive pacing, and placed his hand on top of hers to stop the scratching before it caused actual harm to his sister. "You'll still be my sister no matter where you are sorted, Ade. Mother and father won't simply stop loving you because of a stupid house sorting." Adeline felt her worries fade away, and she threw her arms around her brother and hugged him tightly.

The Potters walk hand in hand, passing Spintwitches. "Harry! I've gotta take you in here. You know I was a Seeker in my day, bet you will be too!" James smirks, waving bye to Lily and Adeline.
Lily turns to Adeline, "You've got your galleons? And your list? You should start your way to Ollivanders!" Lily smiled before walking away to head to Madam Puddifoots, not letting Adeline even respond as her mom left her alone in the crowded Diagon Alley.
Adeline looks around for signs to point her to where she was told to go. As she's looking around, she sees her dad smiling at Harry as they look at brooms. Adeline ignores the impending feeling of being alone and turns to look for another way or to at least find a way to her mom through the seemingly hundreds of wizards in Hogsmeade.
