But their secret identities keep getting in the way of their relationship. Cause they both notice each other's odd behavior in disappearing whenever a new Akuma🦋appears

*3 months later, late at Night🌃in Marinette🐞's bedroom*
*9:30 p.m.*
Marinette was working on her latest project but her mind wasn't focused on the task at hand cause she was thinking about "Adrien". She sighed sadly. Tiki🍀was munching on a chocolate chip cookie🍪when she noticed that something was on her holder🐞's mind. "Is something wrong? Marinette," Tiki asked her softly sensing something was bothering her. and she was right. There is! Mari sighed and said. "Yes. Tiki, it's Adrien! He's been acting strange leaving in the middle of our dates❤️whenever there's an Akuma 🦋attack💥. I know that it shouldn't bother me cause I have to leave as well in order to transform into Ladybug to deal with the akuma and save the day as "usual" but I just wish that he would be honest with me about his disappearance/whereabouts. Not only that he also comes up with the lamest excuses I ever heard! Usually, I'm the one who does that but this feels like something else Tiki, almost like Adrien was hiding a big *secret* from me. But why?" She🐞explained out loud to her. Tiki's eyes widened in shock knowing damn well why Adrien is keeping secrets from Marinette. Cause he's "Cat Noir" but she couldn't tell her owner that. "Well, I don't know anything about it. Maybe it's not what you think." She said softly with a nervous smile playing "dumb". "It's been a "Year" since his father *died* and Adrien is still making excuses," Marinette🐞said. "Well, I don't know what to tell you. But I think that you might be overreacting a bit. And maybe it's not what you think. So, just ask him! I'm sure he'll tell you the "truth" if he's hiding something from you Marinette," Tiki said wisely offering her owner some advice without hinting that Adrien is "Cat🐱Noir" cause she really wanted to tell Marinette but couldn't. Due to Kwami's unable to reveal the *identities* of other holders. Luckily, Marinette bought it as she said. "Yeah, you're right. Tiki! Maybe I'm overreacting or jumping to conclusions. And I trust Adrien so, it's probably not what I think in my head." Marinette said softly agreeing with her that she had a point. Tiki🍀sighed with relief "Glad" her owner bought it.

*Meanwhile at the Agreste Mansion, Adrien🐱was wondering the same thing about his girlfriend🐞, talking with Plagg🐾about his thoughts on it.*
*9:40 p.m.*
"Plagg. Have you noticed that Marinette has been acting weird more than usual?" Adrien asked him out of curiosity. "I don't know. Isn't she "always" weird and quirky?" Plagg said softly not noticing while eating his cheese🧀. "No, it's not that. She's changed. Besides, I love that about her but this is different it's almost, like she's keeping a big "secret" from me. But what could she possibly be hiding from him that she wouldn't want me to know about?" Adrien said softly thinking that his girlfriend was keeping *secrets* But for what reason? Plagg choked on his piece of cheese when his holder said that. This is so unlike him cause he🐾 "never" does that... unless he knows something.
"You know something, don't you?" Adrien🐱questioned his kwami softly if he was hiding something from him. "Nope, I know nothing." Plagg said playing "dumb" while stuffing his face with multiple cheeses into his mouth to prevent himself from revealing Ladybug's *identity*. "You sure? Plagg, 'cause if you knew something... You'd tell me. Right?" Adrien said softly questioning whether his kwami knew anything about the secret that Marinette wasn't telling him for dramatic effect. "Yup, I definely would. Adrien, but like I said I know nothing. So, there's nothing to say or tell." Plagg said. "Okay," Adrien replied softly believing Plagg, and just got back to doing his homework. "Pew, that was a close one. If Tiki and the other kwamis found out that I slipped up. Then, she would kill me!" Plagg thought to himself🖤sighing with *relief* that his holder was "clueless" and had no brain cells enough to not put two and two together. The real reason why Marinette was keeping secrets from him was that she was "Ladybug" but he couldn't tell Adrien that. Besides, he couldn't tell him even if he wanted to😅!
