"Are you looking for this?" My goosebumps instantly went up when I heard that soft voice. I immediately turned my gaze towards the back and now saw...wait–a boy!? I quickly hugged my body. Not allowing him to see my body. After all–why would there be a boy here!? It's a good thing I'm still wearing a tank top.

"Hey, take it easy. I won't lust if you're that flat." This guy, really..just coming straight to body shamming. It's just annoying.

I immediately took the bandage in his hand and quickly wrapped it around my neck area. I don't know if I'm going to die here, but it's still going to be bad if I lose a lot of blood.

"Don't you wanna say thank you?" The boy with the ears of..a fox? Wolf? It looks like a fox anyway. The boy with fox ears gave me an annoyed look while still waiting for me to put on the bandage. "Thanks."

"That was too short."

I ignored him and just walked towards the campfire, hoping that at least my sweater was dry. But it was still a little damp, so I couldn't help but be half-naked (not really) in front of him. "So, you're also my partner like Alice?" I sat back down in front of the campfire.

"Kinda like that. That neck of yours, why?" I knew he would ask that, but still..I felt a little hesitant to tell him. "I have hemophilia, so my blood won't clot if I get hurt. I slit my throat without knowing this, and ended up having to keep wearing a bandage around my neck."

Or so I thought, because...it was just a neck wound that somehow couldn't stop flowing. I didn't have hemophilia. But miraculously, I was still alive. At least before the moment I was killed. I don't know if this has anything to do with my reincarnated self or not. But still, it was troublesome.

"I don't know anything because I'm not the one who can control you." The boy raised his hand and shook his head, confirming that he was not the one controlling this body of mine. Oh yeah, I didn't know his name yet. "Andika, just call me that."

Andika? Doesn't seem to be Japanese. Malaysian or Indonesian? I don't know. "Yuuki, although you must already know my name." I looked at his hand which was kept in his hoodie pocket, I wondered what he was holding behind it.

But suddenly, he pulled out a knife from inside and stabbed my heart. My vision began to blur, blood came out of my mouth in shock, and I couldn't even breathe at all. "Get up."

I woke up instantly from my dream with a gasp for breath and couldn't process what was happening. I tried to calm myself down and checked the condition of my chest. I knew it was just a dream, but it felt like reality...

I looked around and realized that it was already seven at morning, I was an hour late. I didn't see Shiho beside me, so it was a given that they were both awake. And they didn't wake me up? Strange. Usually Shiho wakes me up right away. I shrugged my shoulders and ignored it, perhaps she felt sorry that I hadn't slept for a few days.

I stepped out of the room and walked towards the kitchen, looking for something that could at least fill my stomach that was now starting to churn. But I didn't find any food, I only found the fridge which was now empty without any food stock. "Shit, looks like I'll have to wait."

Right after I said that, I heard the sound of the front door opened and also the voice of Shiho who was now calling Chino's name accompanied by the sound of her footsteps running enthusiastically. "Chino! Chino, wake up!" I came out of the kitchen and approached them. "I'm awake, no need to shout like that." She immediately hugged me and jumped up and down in excitement.
