Jimin stared at the sealing waiting for someone, anyone to approach him. He now feels more of his body on fire. The numbing medicine had wore off a long time ago, but they won’t use another injection for the safety of the baby, the creams and lotions can only do this much.

He remembers everything now. From his school days to his prison days, the days he spent at his mate’s house.

What a luck!

At least his baby is safe now. He can only hope, the people here don’t have him for some lecherous motive.

The doctor earlier hasn’t visited him in the past few hours. He slept and woke up to no one, this room being prevented from having access to sunlight, so he can’t tell of the time.

Just as he was making stories of his own, the doctor he was waiting for made an entry smoothly. A silent killer it seems could have been his profession instead.

“So? How have you been?” he looks tired. Though he tried his best to look cheerful for his patient but it was just not fitting. “Did you get your meals? Sorry, I was not present. It was really urgent, otherwise I would have been with you more.”

Jimin had no idea to why the doctor in front of him felt the need to explain to him about his absence. But it felt good. So, maybe he was trying to be friends with him. Isn’t it all doctors do? He is a patient after all.

His heart settled with happiness for being acknowledged as a normal, loveable, deserving person. He wanted to believe his intuitions.

In reply he just shook his head.

Zhan helped him again to sitting position and set beside him with the observation sheets.

“Hmm..? Have you had your meal?” Zhan again asked.

“No. I--”

“huh....” suddenly Zhan stands up making a frowning, disbeliefing face, “you take this.” He hands him his hardboard with documents, “I’m going to get your meal asap!” and he runs after his weird behaviour.

Jimin stays there in utmost confusion of what happened?

“He is weird.” He says his first full line after waking up.

Happiness again makes it’s way to his heart in the thought that Zhan also trusts him and is comfortable enough to show this side of his in front of a stranger like him.

“Maybe we can be friends.” He tells himself.

A few minutes later Zhan returns with a tray full of nutritious food.

They talks for a long time.

Jimin states about his family ( his father and brothers) and the happy life he had before finding his mates. Zhan also states about his family that doesn’t include Yibo or anything related to him.

They both respect each other’s choice to what they don’t want to expose in front of each other till they are fully comfortable and understands each other.

It’s not like Zhan don’t know already about Jimin’s background. It’s just he doesn’t want to pressurise the other person when he can relate to him in the bigger picture.

“Your family seems really big. How’s that work for all? I mean I’ve seen lots of families, their children fighting each other for little things. I don’t have any siblings yet I fight by cusins in occations. My parants also have fights in their generations. How is it possible for a single man to maintain a big family?”

“My hyungs are really mature, the eldest of us. And they took the responsibilities to look after us when father was not around.”

“You are the only omega.” He said amazed.
