Part 1 - The Express

"Bye mum! Bye. Love you to!" I say, wriggling out of my mothers arms.
"Have a good term sweetie!" She said as I ran away waving and blowing kisses at my father who was smiling proudly.
I walked on the train, lugging along my trunk. Every compartment was full until the end one. I slid open the door and saw a red head girl and greasy haired boy with a prominent nose talking.
"Mind if I sit here?" I said, gesturing to an empty seat. The red head nodded. That's when I realised how pretty she was.
She had startling green eyes and cute freckles around her nose contrasting very well with her pale skin.
"Thanks," I say, and sit down next to her. The greasy hair boy looked at me curiously. I smile at him, and he turns away, embarrassed. I turn to the red head. "I'm Jules Potter,"
"I'm Lily Evans and this is Severus Snape." She shakes my hand.
I smile and nod. "Nice to meet you." She smiles as well.
We spent the rest of the train ride talking, Severus growing more comfortable to talk. He was mid laugh when an annoying thing walked in.
A very annoying thing.
My twin brother, James Potter, walks in. "Hey sis I've been looking all over for you."
"Hey bro." I say. "This is Lily Evans and this is Severus Snape." I say, gesturing to each of them. "Hi," says Lily. Severus just stares.
That's when I hear a bark like laugh. I turn to see three boys gathered behind James.
One of them had slightly long black hair and dark eyes. He was a beautiful person to look at. Except when he was cackling to himself, which happened to be right now.
Another boy, shorter, blonde hair, very spotty, was snickering as well.
The last one was nudging both of them. He was more on the cute side. He had light brown hair and eyes, with multiple scars on his face. Must be a furry problem. I joked to myself, thinking of my cat back home.
"Sn- sn- sniv- snivellus is your name!" Spluttered pretty boy. Severus looked annoyed.
"No, it's Severus," he said. Pretty boy was still laughing.
"Well Snivellus makes sense as," pretty boy pointed to his nose and laughed again. James starting cracking up as well.
Lily stood up. That's when James saw her. He stopped laughing and stared at her. He gazed at her for a full 10 seconds with his mouth open. He was seemingly star struck.
I snapped my fingers. Lily looked flattered and annoyed at the same time. She gave James, pretty boy and pimply a dirty look. "You can't just laugh like that at soemone you don't even know with no context!" She exclaimed. "You all are such-" she cut herself off . Pretty boy grinned. "Can't even say i-"
"Bitches!" I burst in, standing up as well. "Now piss off." Pimply gasped. Pretty boy scowled. James gave me a these-are-my-new-friends-stop-now!! look before storming out. Scar face gave us an apologetic look before leaving.
I sat down. So did Lily. There was silence for a long time.
"Where almost there we should get changed." I said. The others murmured in agreement and Severus left Lily and I to change out of our muggle clothes.
