Chapter 11: A Slap

"An Wenya, why is it you?"

Feng Wenli looked at the girl sitting opposite her in shock and anger, then frowned with disdain and said angrily: "An Wenya, I didn't expect you to be such a person. You actually followed Brother Zhifan here. You're not going to tell me that you're going to the countryside with Brother Zhifan, are you?"

On the busy and noisy train, a thin but pretty girl sitting on a chair shouted loudly. Her sharp voice drowned out most of the other voices and made half of the people in the carriage quiet down. They stretched their necks and looked at the young men and women sitting in the middle seats with curiosity.

An Wenya looked confused and looked at the girl sitting opposite her: "Who are you?"

"You don't even know me!" Feng Wenli looked incredulous and humiliated, staring with her big eyes, which made her originally pretty and beautiful face look even more ugly and hideous.

"Ha!" An Wenya laughed speechlessly. She was born not to be a person who could bear being bullied. She pretended to be a timid and cowardly little girl every day for three years in Shanghai. That was because she noticed something when she left Beijing. She didn't want to cause trouble for her family, and she didn't want to make her aunt and others worry about her, so she pretended.

But now that she no longer needs to endure, she really doesn't want to suffer any anger at all.

"I say... girl, are you seriously ill? Why should I know you? Are you particularly beautiful, or have you done something outstanding for the country and the people that is known to the world? So, do I need to know you?"

"Pfft!" Uncontrollable bursts of laughter came from all around, followed by bursts of whispers. Some people who were more curious stood up and started yelling at Feng Wenli, whose face was full of anger and shame.

"Yes, girl, what great things have you done to make this girl know you? Tell us so that we can get to know you too."

"Hahaha, the girls in these big cities are really interesting. Once they catch someone, they insist on getting to know them."

“You, you…” Feng Wenli stood up angrily and glared at the people who were shouting. Finally, she pointed at An Wenya and shouted, “An Wenya, you said you don’t know me, a high school classmate of ours. How dare you say you don’t know Brother Zhifan?”

Feng Wenli pointed at the young man next to her who looked to be about eighteen or nineteen years old, with a delicate appearance, a clean temperament and a bit of a weak scholar's air. She raised her chin slightly, as if she was sure that An Wenya would not dare to say that she didn't know him.

The young man pointed at by Feng Wenli subconsciously straightened his back, pursed his lips slightly, and looked at An Wenya with a confident and arrogant look, as if waiting for the other party to come closer.

  However……

An Wenya frowned slightly, becoming even more confused: "Why should I know him? Could it be that he has done something big that makes people have to know him?"

"An Wenya!" Lin Zhifan couldn't help but shout, looking at An Wenya in surprise. He couldn't believe that the other party didn't even admit that he knew him.

"Are you two sick?" An Wenya lost her patience and didn't wait for Feng Wenli to continue shouting. She frowned slightly, crossed her legs, and casually placed her hands on her legs. The proud temperament cultivated by her family background, confidence, and appearance emanated from within. She looked at the two people expressionlessly: "As soon as we sat down, you shouted that I knew you. Don't I know whether I know you or not? Who gave you two the confidence that I must know you, and you are my high school classmates? I may not even know all the classmates in my own class, let alone you two."
