The theme was Summertime Sadness which was really interesting! It took me a little bit to decide how i would show that in an art work.
But when i did i had a whole back story and plan for it and i actually really like how it turned out!

So that cat on the left (not me using my hand to figure out which is left— shshshsh yes i am a 15 year old who does not know her left from her right got a problem with that?) is Robinpaw(/kit in the top part). And then the cat on the right is Frostpaw (Side note: MY KEYBOARD GOT SO LOUD FOR NO REASON WHILE I WROTE FROSTPAW— IDEK WHY 😭 IT SCARED ME)

So back story time:
Robinkit used to be a part of the same clan as Frostkit. Robinkit never knew her father. Most cats in the clan just assumed it was Robinkit's mother's best friend, he had died in a battle not too long ago so no one could really confirm it and her mother refused to talk about Robinkit's father. Robinkit and Frostkit were the best of friends. They spend every waking moment together. They would wrestle out in the camp clearing and get under the older cats' paws. But most cats would just find it amusing and the kits would go play in a quieter clearing in camp. When Robinkit was 3 moons old her father was suddenly revealed. It was a cat from another clan. Robinkit's mother had announced it to the clan when rumors about Robinkit's father started to get spread. Her mother didn't like the way the other warriors looked at her suspiciously after that. So she decided to move to Robinkit's father's clan. Robinkit didn't have any other family in the clan. So she decided to go with her mother. Frostkit felt betrayed and hurt after Robinkit left him. Soon after they both become apprentices Robinpaw spots Frostpaw on the border. She had gone up to greet her old friend, excited to seem him again. But when he spots her bouncing over to the edge of the border he seems... angry? Frostpaw had snarled at Robinpaw and told her to stay away from him and to back away from the border. Robinpaw had said it was her, his best friend sense they were kits. Frostpaw told her that she had just left him to go to another clan. So they were no longer friends. She slowly walked away from him to go back to camp as he stood their bristling.
So thats fUn.
I have more ort i is working on. I have just been pretty busy this summer so far. But im going to try to post art more.
