“Nande… kokoni iru no? (Why… are you here)?” Togame was stunned to see Sakura trailing behind their leader, Choji.

They’re currently preparing meals for a feast and Togame is one of the cooks. It’s Friday afternoon, just the end of classes for this week.

“Sakura-chan said he wanted to talk to you, Kame-chan! So, you don’t have to worry about anything here, just go!” then whispered, “Go and resolve it Kame-chan. Love is powerful, gambatte (good luck)!” Choji then cheerfully and playfully pushed Sakura towards Togame.

After Furin got along with Shishitoren, he already let down his guard around them, so Sakura was startled when he stumbled. Fortunately, Togame caught him, but since it was uncalled for, they both fell on the ground with a thud. Togame’s back is on the ground while Sakura laid on top of him, several seconds already passed and they’re just staring at each other. If not for the others whistling around and teasing them to go get a room, they wouldn’t have snapped back to reality.

“Oh, uhm… l-let’s talk in private…” Sakura stuttered while blushing heavily and cannot look straight into Togame’s eyes.

As if in a trance, Togame let the unique man dragged his wrist.

Arriving in a secluded area, still in Shishitoren territory, Sakura let go of Togame’s wrist and leaned on the wall before staring at him.

“Othello-kun, what do you wanna talk about? You could’ve just texted me, y’know. If it’s about last week, I already told you not to worry about it. Just forget every--”

“After what you’ve said and done, do you think, I’ll really be able to forget?” Sakura cut him off. “And anyway, don’t call me Othello-kun, you bastard!”

Togame smiled deprecatingly. “So, what is this about? You even got in here alone and asked Choji so we can talk.” He also leaned on the wall opposite to Sakura and crossed his arms.

Last weekend…

“Othello-kun, what a coincidence! It’s been four-no, five times this week since we’ve been running to each other!” Togame was happy with their seemingly intertwined fates. “Wanna hangout again?”

Sakura rolled his eyes before glaring at the yukata-clad man. “Don’t call me Othello-kun! Anyway, why do you think I wanna hangout with you?”

“Hai, hai (Yes, yes). I forced you to go around with me, so right now, I’m gonna force you again.” Togame smirked then pulled the youth.

They hang out for the whole day indeed, eating in a restaurant, not even realizing that it’s famous for couples, they played in the arcade, Sakura chasing Togame to beat him up for teasing him, and now they’re walking by the beach, holding a can of soda. Both of them are quiet, just appreciating the sound of the waves, the smell of the sea, the light blows of the winds and the setting sun.

Currently, Togame was contemplating and reflecting upon himself whether to finally confess or not, he liked this unique man of the Furin and already made peace to himself about his feelings. He likes staring at the different colored eyes of Sakura, tussling his black and white hair, and seeing him turn red whenever he detects some kind of affection from the people around.

Their first and following meetings weren’t the best but, he was able to have a connection to the youth, so after their first spending time with each other, he realized that, it’s not friendship and gratitude he feels for Sakura, but much deeper than that. From his experience, keeping what you really feel to yourself is not a good move. So, he would tell it to the youth, no matter if he will get rejected and hated.
