The Promise (Pharita x Reader)

I. Hope not

Promises means anything, but after everything is broken, it means nothing.

It was friday 7:15 am, when a woman was seen hurrying to get into the evelator before the door close.
"Hey Ri, you look like you're in a hurry." Said one of the girl in the evelator.
"Oh hi Rose, this morning I have surgery, but I have to meet with the head of the hospital, he said there is an urgent need."

The girl's name is Pharita, one of the best surgical specialists at Asan Medical Center. She is quite a smart because she can become a specialist at a young age.

at CEO's room

"Good morning sir". Pharita said while entering the room.
" oh Good morning dr. Pharita. Please take a seat. Sorry to disturb your time, I know there is currently an operation scheduled, but there is something important I want to talk about".

"What is Mr. Yang?" asked Pharita.

"I was contacted by the secretary of the CEO of Kim Corporation, one of the largest shareholders in SNU Hospital and also the largest shareholder in this hospital, they need you at their hospital because your performance so far has been very satisfactory," the CEO explained.

"I'm sorry sir, but I still have surgery schedules and patients that I can't leave behind."

"I'm sorry, but I can't do anything. This doesn't mean you are no longer at this hospital, it just means you also have to share your time at SNU Hospital if they need you."

"Okay sir, may I know when we will meet to discuss this?". Pharita asked

"Tonight they are holding a meeting with us, I hope Dr. Pharita can attend." continued Mr. Yang

"Okay sir, then I'll excuse myself, because I have an operation scheduled for today." Pharita left the CEO's room.

Fast forward at night

Pharita and the CEO of her hospital were waiting for the CEO of NSU Hospital at the restaurant that had been prepared for the meeting.

"Sorry for making you wait so long, there was traffic jam on the road." Said someone who came in with two other people.

That voice...... (said Pharita stunned)

Pharita, who had been facing away from the door, then turned around to see who had come.
Pharita was shocked and didn't expect who would come tonight.

"you.. !!". Pharita said while pointing her finger at the person who had just entered.

The people in the room were immediately shocked when they saw Pharita pointing at the CEO, especially the CEO who looked surprised but immediately hid his expression.

Pharita POV

I never thought I would see him again and I have no plans in my life to see him again.
oh no.
Would I collaborate with him?

"Okay, please sit down everyone. Forgive us for being half an hour late from our appointment time. I'm Jisoo, I'm the secretary and also a doctor at SNU Hospital, this is Lisa, she is a specialist surgeon at SNU Hospital, and this is the CEO of SNU Hospital , Kim YN" . One of them said introducing himself, then they reached out their hands to shake.

no no.. Whatt?? Kim YN the CEO of SNU Hospital?
Why do I never find out about things other than surgical matters? At least I would know that if YN was the CEO then I would refuse this collaboration. I thought.
