2 weeks later

Today YN is getting ready to go home. For 2 weeks, YN underwent routine examinations and today was allowed to go home. During those 2 weeks, Pharita never left YN alone, she faithfully accompanied and helped YN, even though YN's attitude was a little different because he didn't want to bother Pharita too much.

"Chu, I'm ready. Let's go home." YN said to Jisoo

"Let's wait for Pharita first, she's still in another patient's room. She said she wants to accompany you home." Jisoo said explaining.

"Ah... come on, let's not bother Pharita anymore, I really feel guilty for Eunwoo if it's like this. Come on, get me my wheelchair." YN said again.

Yes, as a result of the accident, YN's right leg suffered a fracture and has not yet recovered. So he had to use a wheelchair.
Jisoo took his wheelchair and helped YN to get out of bed and sit in his wheelchair. Meanwhile, Lisa is packing YN's clothes and belongings so that nothing is left behind. When Jisoo wanted to open the door, Pharita entered YN's room first.

"Are you ready to go home?". Pharita asked, seeing YN already in his wheelchair.

Jisoo and Lisa nodded. "YN insisted on going home quickly so as not to bother you," said Jisoo sulking.

Pharita turned her gaze to YN. Pharita knelt in front of YN so she could talk to YN. "I never felt bothered by you." Pharita said while holding YN's hand. "Then let's go home, I'll take you, because Jisoo has a meeting today." Pharita said.
Pharita stood up as she pushed YN's wheelchair out of the room.
When the three of them arrived at the parking lot, Pharita helped YN get up and get into the car.
"Emm... Ri, I can do it myself." YN said nervously.
Pharita just took a deep breath and then continued to support YN into the car, while being helped by Lisa.
"Lately you often don't want my help, do you feel uncomfortable?" Pharita asked quietly with a sad face.
YN could only shake his head. "If you care like this, how can my heart let you go, Ri?" YN said in his heart.
"I will still take you home." Pharita said as she got in and sat in the driver's seat. Meanwhile, Lisa sat in the back seat.
All the way to YN's house, there was only silence. No one spoke. Lisa, who felt the atmosphere in the car was less than pleasant, tried to joke. But no one paid attention to Lisa.

at YN's House

Pharita and Lisa helped YN to enter his room. When they we're in the room, Lisa helped YN to get into bed, then Lisa said goodbye to prepare food, and left YN and Pharita in the room.

"Don't you have anything important to do today?" YN asked breaking the silence.

"Today I don't have any important schedule at the hospital. Why?". Pharita asked

"Um, no, I just don't want to disturb your schedule, Ri." YN said with a smile.

Pharita sat on the edge of YN's bed, then stroked YN's cheek. "You're not bothering me at all, YN. I really intend to accompany you home and take you." Pharita said.

YN was also confused by Pharita's character, who seemed to have changed a little recently. She was no longer angry, even the current Pharita reminded him of Pharita when she was his girlfriend.
"What are you thinking about? ". Pharita asked suddenly surprising YN.

YN just smiled and shook his head. YN grabbed Pharita's hand and hugged her. "Can I just hug you for a moment?" YN asked while hugging Pharita.
Pharita smiled and returned YN's hug. "I miss moments like this." YN said again then stroked Pharita's back.
Pharita just put her ear on YN's chest while smiling, listening to YN's heartbeat.

"Thank you for looking after me while I was in the hospital, Ri... I heard a story from Lisa that for 2 months I was in a coma, you were always by my side." Yn said while stroking Pharita's back.

"It's all nothing compared to your sacrifice in saving me during that accident." Pharita said while raising her head and looking at YN.

Yn stroked Pharita's face and smiled. "There's something I want to talk to you about. I hope this makes you happy." YN said again

"What is that?" asked Pharita

YN took a deep breath and then said "I want to end our cooperation contract. Starting tomorrow, you no longer need to share your time with SNU Hospital. I know you find it difficult to divide your time and lately I often see you tired. Thank you very much. helped me lately and sorry for burdening you with a lot of work." Yn said while holding Pharita's hand.

Pharita looked at YN in confusion. "Why so suddenly, YN? My contract is still 2 years away. You don't need to worry, I'm used to it like this." Pharita answered while holding back her tears.

YN just stared at Pharita in silence, and then wiped away the tears that were flowing down Pharita's cheeks.
"Is this the reason why you've been avoiding me lately, YN?". Pharita asked again with tears continuing to flow down her cheeks.

YN fell silent again. He looked at Pharita then stroked her cheek. "Do you still love me, Ri?". YN asked suddenly.

"YN...". Pharita wanted to answer but was cut off by YN.
"I know. There is no longer me in your heart, that's why I don't want you to be trapped with me just because of this contract. You are already happy, I don't want to ruin your happiness anymore." YN said

"But you did it." Pharita answered

"I know, I'm sorry for that. I'm sorry." YN said again.

When Pharita wanted to answer what YN said, suddenly her phone rang. When Pharita looked at her cellphone, it turned out that it was a call from Eunwoo, YN also had time to see who was calling Pharita at this time.

"Pick up first, maybe he has something important with you." YN said with a smile.

Pharita nodded and immediately picked up the phone.
"What??? OK, I'll be there soon." Pharita answered suddenly crying and immediately turned off the phone.

"Hey, what's up?". YN asked confused

"YN.. my... mom" Pharita answered and immediately ran out of YN's room.

Pharita POV

I got a call from Eunwoo that My Mom was rushed to the hospital because of a heart attack. I went straight to the hospital and left YN alone in the room.

I saw Eunwoo come out of the room crying. My heart beats fast. I immediately approached Eunwoo.
"How is my mom?" I asked

"Pharita......" Eunwoo couldn't continue his words. He immediately hugged me.
"I asked you Eunwoo." I said again.
"I'm sorry, but your mom has passed away." Eunwoo said which made me immediately froze. My tears fell.
"no no no... this can't be happening, she was fine yesterday Eunwoo." I said while crying.
I can't hold back my sadness. This is the greatest heartbreak of my life. I pushed Eunwoo's body and then entered the room where My mom was. I could only cry when I saw her lying stiff.
"I'm sorry mom, I'm a useless child. I'm not even with you, I can't help you, I'm sorry mom." I said while hugging her lifeless body.

"Mom, how will I get used to living without you?"
