The seven boys were seated at a round table waiting for the next performance to start at just one of the many awards shows they were forced to attend.

"Who is even up next?" Han questions the group during a break in the show. "I don't remember seeing anyone get up to leave." He pouts while contemplating all the groups still present and sitting around them.

Chan, ever the responsible leader, responded, "I went over the schedule beforehand and it just said 'Special performance'." he added with air quotes.

"Well, that's not suspicious or anything..." Jeongin says absentmindedly while trying to balance a water bottle on his kneecap to stifle the boredom.

"Maybe we'll get another JYP performance to entertain us," Seungmin responds with a smirk, earning a few snickers from the other members, already contemplating how to recreate the moves at their next concert to make Stays laugh.

Just as Changbin was about to add his own joke about their boss, the lights dimmed in preparation for the next stage and everyone quieted, eagerly awaiting the unexpected performer.

The performance started, and the first thing they heard was the music for a song many recognized immediately. The singer was obscured behind a gauzy sheet of white, leaving only their silhouette illuminated.

"Who is that?" asked Hyunjin, squinting his eyes to try and get a better look.

"I can't even tell if it's a girl or boy." Lee Know added while picking at his nails to appear more disinterested than his slight frown and quirk of his brow made him out to be.

Before anyone could make any more guesses, a deep voice rang out across the arena, silencing the crowd even further.

"Birds flying high..." the performer sang the opening line "You know how I feel."

The members, as did all the other idols around them, had looks of astonishment on their faces, not knowing how to react to the deep, powerful voice coming from behind the white sheet.

As the singer continued the first verse, everyone started to chatter excitedly waiting for the reveal.

Only Bang Chan remained still, with a flicker of recognition in the back of his mind urging him to recognize the performer's identity. He started to feel a cold sweat dripping down the back of his neck in anticipation and dread.

"It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life..." the deep voice continued to ring out as the curtain started to wave.

"For me..." the curtain suddenly dropped, along with the heart of every single one of the boys sitting there as they took in the boy's identity on stage. The crowd roared but everything was drowned out in their ears except for his voice.

"And I'm feeling good.", a very different-looking, but unmistakably Felix sang as he outstretched his arms at the drop in the music with a smirk.
