Heeseung's pov:

I let out a frustrated groan

What time is it?

I grab my phone and check who's the annoying bastard that calling me at this ungodly hour

I catch myself smiling for a moment, it's been awhile since she's called me at an hour like this

I wonder if she missed me

I think smiling to myself, shit what am I doing let me answer the call
"Hello? Y/n do you know what hour it is?" I tell her slightly frustrated she did wake me up after all but it is my fault I did tell her to call me and I'll always answer no matter what, "Ethan can you pick me up" I here her slurred voice come through the phone "y/n are you drunk right now?" , "whaat me no I just had one or two drinks that's all" I can clearly hear her giggling, she always was such a bad liar

"Where are you?" I ask her concerned if she was this drunk who knows what could happen "I....i... I don't know Actually" I let out a sigh this girl seriously "are you with shuhua or Jen?", "hmm I don't know where they are either now that you memtion them" she's even mispronouncing words, how many drinks did she have, y/n has always had such high alcohol tolerance it would take someone hard to make her this drunk

"Y/n are you able to send me your location please" she hums and I get a notification from her, at least she's quick with it "heeseung can you stay on the phone?" She asks me "of course I can" I reassure her
I stayed with her on that call right up until I pulled up in front of a house I assumed was the one the party was being held at

What a great way to spend my Friday night or well Saturday morning

I see her sitting there on the front steps in a black dress shuhua most likely told her to wear, with her heels in hand, as I walk up to her and as if the universe wanted me to be pissed of course there had to be a guy harassing her, "come on beautiful I can give you some water when you come over to my place" he says to her "no thank you" she politely declines and he still was the nerve to continue asking "come on buddy she said no beat it" I tell the guy that was getting on my nerves

"And you are?" I let out a small chuckle, "her boyfriend now beat it" I assert getting closer to his face "really? And why would you let your girlfriend go to a party alone, seems like bullshit to me", "you know unlike your insecure ass I actually trust my girlfriend plus I know she won't leave me for someone like you" I look him up and down, clearly pissed off the guy goes ahead and leaves thank god, "come on y/n let's go" I stand her up and help her walk to the car, oh I tried letting her do it she fell trying to stand up

I help her in and get in myself, starting the car I start to head off to my apartment I wasn't about to take her back to her parents like this "Ethan you're the best" she hugs me as I was about to put her down on my bed, I hug her back and go to get one of my shirts to put on her then I go and get her a cup of water "here y/n drink this" she drinks some and puts the cup on my bedside table "you stay and sleep in my room I'll sleep in the living room" I know ironic how we've fucked and slept in the same bed but that was not tonight apart from the benefits we were friends and she's drunk i would never take advantage of her unless she said otherwise

She lets out a whine "noooo stayyyy" she looks at me and pouts, this is what I mean if she said otherwise and when she looked at me I couldn't help but comply with her, she was my weak spot and yet we had to stay friends it did eat me inside but it's what she wanted and she's never stated otherwise...

I lay back down on my bed and she immediately snuggles up to me, how much did she love doing that, always made me smile "heeseung I love you" I hear her mumble into my chest and I freeze "you what?" She's drunk she doesn't know what's she's saying "I love you" she says again and pecks me on my lips, I just laid there in shock for what I thought was hours but in reality was only a few seconds "I love you too" I whisper out as she was knocked out cold after that

If only you knew what you did to me y/n

End of pov:

He just told me he loved me and he had no ounce of alcohol in his system and I sat there like an idiot not knowing what to say "y/n that night I told you, you called me and I picked you up to stay at my place, and told you I slept on the couch, I lied" he started speaking "I lied, you asked me to stay in bed with you and that night y/n you told me you loved me and the next day you acted like everything was normal" he continued "of course I knew it was the alcohol but a piece of me hoped you remembered that you told me you loved me"

"A piece of me hoped you would say it to me sober but you never did, that was a month ago y/n from then on I knew I couldn't handle seeing you without fucking up everything we have, I started going out with other girls to see if my feelings for you wasn't what I thought they were, but I can't take it anymore y/n, I love you and it hurts" he finishes and I sat there dumbfounded not knowing what to say

I acted upon stupid feelings I didn't know I had yet I did, I did have feelings for him and I knew ever since the whole ordeal with Daniel but I pretended it was nothing, I didn't want to be the one to fuck up what we have and yet here he was telling me he also felt the same "y/n?" His voice rings in my ears and all I can do is stare at him

Why can't I just tell him I love him what is going on with me

"I knew this was a mistake" he huffs out and starts getting up "heeseung wait-" I grab his arm and pull him in for a kiss as I pull away I say "heeseung I love you too" he stands there dumbfounded just as I was a few seconds ago "you..you do?" He says with a shaky voice

Man I did make this man go through shit

"Yea, I do" I say letting out a small laugh and smiling at him, he smiles back at me and immediately hugs and picks me up and kisses me "I actually dreamt of this day" he says cheesing so hard, I love his smile so much, "I missed you dork"

That night had to be the best thing that happened to me, or us who knew my childhood friend would turn into my friend with benefits into my boyfriend of 6 years not to mention shuhua couldn't get enough she always mentioned how she knew all along and knew it was him that morning on call, being honest I think she just doesn't want to admit she never saw it coming, but we just tell her she's right to not fight with her and Daniel well he stopped wanting to go out with me especially since he saw me and Ethan making out and hands deep in our pants in the janitors closet, that was extremely awkward, but heeseung just loves the fact he kept me all to himself and never got to share me with him or something along those lines but that doesn't matter tonight is our 6th anniversary and Ethan wanted to take me out to a nice restaurant And little did I know he would purpose to me that night and of course I said yes
