Yunise's POV

Mariella and I navigated through the vibrant corridors of the university, bustling with students rushing to and from classes. The weight of our internship responsibilities hung in the air, but today, the buzz of campus life added a touch of excitement to our routine.

As we passed the courtyard, lively with students exchanging ideas and laughter, we spotted Idris Pascual striding confidently amidst the crowd. Idris was known for her sharp wit and entrepreneurial spirit, a beacon of focus in the whirlwind of university life.

"Hey, ladies!" Idris called out, her voice cutting through the chatter. She waved us over with a grin. "How's the internship going?"

"Busy but thrilling," I replied with a smile. "How about you, Idris? Any new business ventures brewing?"

Idris chuckled, adjusting her backpack. "Always something in the works. Yunise, I've been hearing great things about your stint at the TV station. Keep rocking it."

"Thanks, Idris," Mariella chimed in. "She's practically a celebrity at this point."

I rolled my eyes playfully at Mariella's teasing. "Let's not get ahead of ourselves. We've got class to attend, remember?"

With a final wave to Idris, we made our way to our first lecture of the day: Directing and Film Production with the esteemed Ms. Haven Kensington. Ms. Kensington was not only our professor but also a luminary in the film industry, renowned for her insightful direction and passion for storytelling.

Entering the lecture hall, a hush fell over the students as Ms. Kensington greeted us with her customary grace. Her presence alone commanded respect, and her lectures were eagerly anticipated for their depth and inspiration.

"Good morning, everyone," Ms. Kensington began, her voice carrying a hint of excitement. "Today, we delve into the art of character development in film."

I took my customary seat at the front, ready to absorb every nugget of wisdom she would impart. As the class secretary, I often interacted closely with Ms. Kensington, and her mentorship was invaluable to my growth as a filmmaker.

"Yunise," Ms. Kensington called out, her eyes alight with expectation, "could you summarize last week's discussion on character depth?"

Standing up, I felt a rush of nerves mixed with anticipation. "Certainly, Ms. Kensington. Last week, we explored techniques for crafting multidimensional characters—developing their backstories and motivations to engage the audience on a deeper level."

Ms. Kensington nodded approvingly. "Well articulated, Yunise. Today, we'll analyze case studies to understand how these techniques translate into compelling narratives."

Throughout the lecture, Ms. Kensington's insights sparked my imagination, each example illustrating the transformative power of character-driven storytelling. Her ability to distill complex concepts into practical advice was nothing short of mesmerizing.

After class, determined to refine my craft further, I approached Ms. Kensington to discuss a personal project—a short film script I was developing for my portfolio.

"Ms. Kensington, could I seek your feedback on my script?" I asked tentatively.

She smiled warmly. "I'd be delighted, Yunise. Swing by my office after your last class today."

Lunch break at the campus cafeteria, Mariella, Idris and I found ourselves seated at a corner table, trays laden with a mix of hearty sandwiches and steaming cups of coffee. The clatter of students and the aroma of freshly brewed espresso filled the air, creating a lively backdrop for our midday reprieve.
